Would you consider the audio edition of Game of Thrones - Das Lied von Eis und Feuer 1 to be better than the print version?
the print and audio versions are very similar, except for some of the names like in the audible it's grayjoy, but in the text it's graufreud. I also have listened and read at the same time, it helps me understand.

my most memorable moments have been when there is an interchange between characters and I can understand all of it. I am learning German and am a long way from mastering it.

Noch besser als die englische best-seller Version
Ich hatte mir zuerst die englische Version herunter geladen. Diese hat über 40.000 Top Bewertungen. Da anfangs sehr viele Charakter im Buch vorgestellt werden, fiel es mir leichter, erst die deutsche Version zu verstehen. Nach dem ersten Band stieg ich wieder auf englisch um, aber nur für eine kurze Zeit. Bleib jetzt bei deutsch.
Jetzt zähle ich mich bereits zu einem großen Fan von "Das Lied von Eis und Feuer". Ich habe noch nie eine Folge Game of Thrones gesehen und möchte das auch so beibehalten.
