Body Issues Beware!

I enjoyed the story, but the main character’s low self esteem became a little too much to digest. No pun intended! The incessant loathing and constant reassurance became monotonous.

That Ending!

That ending had me immediately downloading part 2. I liked this story and I feel like it had more depth than some omegaverse books I’ve read. At times I do think it was a little long but overall I enjoyed it.

No shifts in a shifter book??

It’s a slow burn on the actual storyline. Not the romance or steam, but the interesting parts are really drawn out. I thought we were going to actually get somewhere and the book ended. Also, this is a book about shifters…who apparently don’t shift. At least they don’t in this first book. That was unsatisfying and weird with so much talk of “heat”s and packs.
I also tend to like books with strong female leads, and although this character is resilient she hasn’t found her strength and it’s a bit daunting at times.
The way the guys love the female lead is really nice, though.

Worst. Cliffhanger. Ever.

Phenomenal story. Incredible voice acting. Delectable, lose-yourself s*x scenes. I absolutely could not put it down.

Trauma trigger warning if you have any SA in your background, but the author *beautifully* shows what it’s like to recover from trauma/how to love someone that’s recovering. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the representation. Well done, 10/10 would recommend.

Ok need check out trigger warnings.. a few are medical abuse different kinds.. SA..Fat Shaming ( not by her guys ) knotting .. Light BDSM .. the world building really good…

LOVED this book!!

This was my first time reading anything from an omegaverse and I absolutely loved it. The whole storyline kept me intrigued from the very beginning. I don’t want to give any spoilers but if you want a funny, romantic but spicy book… this is a must read. Can’t wait to read Part Two!!! 🫶🏼

The audiobook brought this story to life!

I’ve read both parts of Forbidden and I absolutely loved the story. But listening to it really brings the characters to life and, for me, it really brought me emotionally into the story. I 100% suggest listening!

Intriguing story

I always love a good suspense but add in a sprinkle of abuse & corruption & it really makes an intriguing story. The only downside to the story was the governmental corruption almost made it too real for me with our current American political climate. I guess the other con (of pro & con) is the alphas in this story took to the main female, Josie, right away- I usually like a good pull & tug that eventually brings the group together.

Other than that- it was good story of Josie learning how to be true to her Omega status, learn to love her guys & trust them. The book left on a great cliff-hanger. The book also made me want the main characters fight back against all the injustice the Designation Government & her family was forcing on everyone, especially Omegas. Can't wait for the next audio book to release!

I read this and forgot all about the cliffhanger so listening to it made my heart break! The narrators did an amazing job of bringing this to life!
