Publisher's summary

Everything I am is a lie.

To the world, I’m Carmine, the beta barista, not Nova, the omega, who’s being hunted by her old pack.

I live my life by one rule: Blend in and be forgotten.

Then I meet my three rich bosses. For some reason they take an interest in me and it’s impossible to avoid them since we work together.

To make matters worse, they’re searching for the perfect omega to protect and cherish.

They’re everything I could ever wish for. Just as I’m finally letting my guard down, my old pack comes sniffing around and threatens to destroy everything I’ve built with these men.

When they find out I’m not who they think I am, will they still protect me, or will they give me back to the pack who destroyed me?

This is a stand-alone OV romance.

Sweet Omega Claiming Alphas

LOVE this book. The alphas are so good to Carmine… before they even know her. This is such a sweet omegaverse.

LOVED IT!

Absolutely loved this audiobook! Bridget and Jake are phenomenal as always. They bring such depth and finesse to any character.

Rory wrote an amazing story of an abused / traumatized omega hiding as a beta. Once she finds her pack of Alphas everything starts to fall into place. 100% would recommend this book to anyone wanting a good Omegaverse to read.

Lovable

This story all together was a sweet, funny, sexy and traumatic.
My short summary with no spoilers
It starts out with a Omaga who’s with her so called forever pack. Or at least she thought. They emotional and physically abused her but they don’t go into major details. It really hurt my heart within the first 10 min. You can hear the pain and the need of being loved. Some really screwed up stuff happens after and she’s still fighting to go on.
She gets into a whole new life and meets new people but her past trauma still owns her. Playing things like she’s a beta. It seems she attracted some other men with her lovely personality. They have one hell of a battle to go through but has a happy ending.

I do got to say I love that they kept it real life with someone who’s been traumatized. Some books will be like you get over it real fast. This story shows how it really is. Even though you live a good life and all is well. That ugliness still lives within you. It’s a battle within yourself that shall always show its ugly side and try and drag you down.
The female lead was a strong woman who showed she can keep going even on the inside she’s screaming. The male leads were also with their own past trauma and wanted to find that love to heal them. They took the time to get in there story’s and make the story more realistic and relatable.
My only bothersome thing about the story was the final battle or show down with her past. Was… well. Blah. It was short and over. A lot of build up to it just for it to end so fast.
This story was still good or great. Had drama, action, romance, comedy and don’t forget those steamy parts. Well balanced story. Came together good.
My first book from this author and I’m happy I bought it. The readers/narrators did a wonderful job.

perfection!

narrators did an amazing job as always! rory mills gave another amazing story that wasn't trashy or over the top. all the characters have there own demons but all in all they over come it. life isn't perfect and this story actually shows what human trafficking, abuse and recovery actually is. even with the guys and their trama. highly recommend ❤

Sweet Alphas with Dirty mouths? Yes please!

This duet narration was sublime. I’d consider this a slow burn where our FMC Nova is dealing with trauma while learning to trust her new bosses Javi, Ly and Rome. Yes there’s great spice but the plot was so good!

wonderful!

This has to be the first story that's kept me riveted and entertained in a while. wonderful voice acting and great plot! I only wish there was more information about what happened to the villains in the story. I know what is implied to happen, but I'd also enjoy the dirty details.

Great story, great narration

I love a story where the good guys win and there’s a happily ever after. But I’ve never read a book where the FMC was a victim of human trafficking and deals with all of that baggage to get to her HEA, so that was unique. Loved the characters, the pack reminded me of Robin Hood, loved the story.

The way I laughed out loud at at Some of the scenes

Really good book. Lots of crying but lots of laughing too. It’s narrated perfectly and it’s a stand alone which means it ends well with no cliff hanger

Beautiful story and duet narration

Great narration from the Bordeauxs and a wonderful story as usual from Rory Miles. I absolutely love Rory’s books and it was a pleasure to hear it come to life.

Any prior issues with chapter 17 have seem to have been resolved.

Great first listen of this author!

This was my first audiobook (and any kind of book) from this author and I definitely will be checking out her other work, especially the interconnected standalones like Kiki’s story.

I connected with this omega so quickly, with how she was treated by her matched pack/alphas and how they sold her and her life was horrible with her addiction and what she was forced to do with her body. I am glad she got out and was starting new and had Kiki to help her out and be her rock when needed. We get to see her slowly fall for bosses and allow them in on her secrets and help her get through her trauma. I loved that the guys fall one at a time pretty much and she does the same. I enjoyed how different the guys were (I kinda wish the author went a little further with the kinks but the stuff she gave us was good). I felt for the guys and their process for meeting omegas. Dating is so hard and having to match with 3 very different guys is even harder. I loved their personalities. I thought they were endearing and quirky in their own ways, and their Dom sides were yummy. I loved the shibari addition, it doesnt get enough airtime/screen time I think! I enjoyed the smaller side plots (like Javi taking out Rome’s parents hahaha and Lycus singing and his trauma and abandonment issues). I loved that we got more relationship building in the beginning, and it made sense with her past and how they had to go slowly with her. It wouldn’t have made sense if it was a fast burn. The way they all fell for her was swooooon. I will say I thought it was rushed at the end when they knotted and claimed her. Like we didnt get dates or courting or anything. That would be be only main complaint/feedback. Overall I really enjoyed it and loved the cinnamon roll and lovely alphas for this damaged but far from broken omega, hiding as a beta in plain sight. Would definitely recommend if you love omegaverses and RHs ❤️

Narration was done well, I enjoy this dynamic duo, they feed off each other really well. I thought the male narrator did a good job with the guys and how different they were. He is the best with the flirty, funny, or slightly unhinged characters the most (based on listening to him a lot haha) and that was no different here and Lycus hahaha. Amazing job. I thought she did a great job as well with her performances. The heat was devastating, the baking and addiction cravings and workarounds hit me in the gut, and the way she broke down with them and finally let herself be happy was done perfectly. I felt the emotions in this book and couldnt stop listening. Fabulous job!

Now backtracking and going to listen to Kiki’s story next 😊
