After years of putting it off, I find myself ready for a pack.

I'm not much of a social person—books and writing are my whole life—so meeting a pack organically is out of the question.

So, when my best friend finds an ad for a Valentine's Day speed dating event, I take the leap and sign up. I only had hope for a date for the holidays, but I ended up leaving with a lot more.

Holden, Benji, and Grant are everything I was hoping for in a pack. Things happen fast, but they feel right because we're meant to be.

But their older brother Phoenix is not very happy about the Omega his brothers bring home. He says he doesn't want an Omega and that his brothers can have me. Only thing is, I'm his scent match, too.

You see, I have a little secret I'm not ready to tell my new pack about. I'm a world-famous author, and only a select few know the real identity of the person behind the pen name.

Phoenix wants to make a deal with Marie Day to make one of her books into a motion picture. That's not going to happen until he can pull his head out of his ass and give in to the want for me he clearly has. Because I'm a stubborn omega with nothing but time, and I'm not going anywhere.

It’s not bad but I don’t like it

I usually love this female reader but idk something was different. Maybe the character was just bad and I was projecting dislike onto the reader but idk something was off with it this time. The story was like mostly smut. I love smutty books but there has to be a story and everything has to fit nicely. This was like boring story like add the smut. Then this like kidnapping aspect gets pulled in just to be glossed over like it’s nothing. This crazy ex thing that’s like so big and then when the alpha talks about it, it’s exactly what the other ones said happened. Like nothing new or no real feelings to make it his own or make it show why he made it a big deal. Even the omega’s anxiety attacks were like that’s what caused it? I don’t think you have like freeze up crazy panic attacks from a few mean girls in school. It was very much a drag on kind of book and I stopped it several times have no want or need to finish it. I’m also super mad that we don’t know what’s going on with the kidnappings. You can’t add that and be like we don’t know whats happening but it’s cool now (literally basically what she said at the end about it). Then it ends on a post heat breakfast sing/dance. And the epilogue is like we have kids and moved and it’s over. It’s not bad but idk it’s just not really enjoyable.

Good Storyline

I really enjoyed the premise of this story, the little twists within were fun and I liked the interactions between all the characters. Some felt a bit draggy in the beginning but overall it had a good pace and narration was ok.

Reverse Harem, Omega Verse, and Trauma Trop!

This was a really sweet omega verse. Three out of the 4 MMC‘s are looking for an Omega to complete their pack. The oldest MMC is too jaded to look for an omega due to his past. He is reluctant to find an omega. But when the three MMC‘s find their sent match, they bring over the FMC to meet everyone except the oldest MMC. The FMC has her work cut out for her when her last match is very reluctant to open up to her. Both narrators did an amazing job bringing to life each of the characters.

Loved It

I love everything about this omegaverse. It was sweet, a bit tense and oh so spicy.

Good book

The book is good and I’d say well paced for how quickly it goes into the spiciness but that’s my favorite parts so maybe I’m biased. The guys voices are a little bit to alike for there being 4 guys it’s hard to remember which one the narration is coming from. Other than that everything about this was great :)

Grant is the 2nd oldest, he is a music producer, he is also the quite one of the pack
Phoenix or Nix is the oldest alpha of the pack and he is a movie producer, he is trying to get Maya's book into a movie but he has no idea it's her because she has a fake name due to her metal state, the Pen name is Maria Day
Nix tries for weeks to get a meeting with her but she keeps saying no because she needs the right offer not someone to change the book or take out scenes or add bullshit, but Nix won't do that, and he eventually makes that deal with him after she tells her pack she is that author
she fall for them all fast, Nix takes longer to get on board because of a bitch omega from his past fucking him up he doesn't trust them so it takes him awhile to want Maya
he sees she is not his ex and decides to finally be all in with her because he is miserable without her because she moves in and her scent is everywhere and he can't get away so he stops being an ass and finally treats her how the rest of his brothers do
they all bond and fall in love

A book girly omega!!

Maya was such a special character. I loved how things were represented in this book. The mental health is handled with such respect and it’s good to see the representation of it in books. The guys were amazing, with the exception of Nix, right from the start. Maya forgave things a little quicker than I would have but I did appreciate that Nix didn’t take advantage of things before she had expressed her forgiveness. The narration was awesome as always!

The people felt real.

The writer was great at having amazing realistic feeling people. While still keeping with-in the dream love story. This was well done and well read by the narrators. both male & female parts.

Choices

Maya is making a choice which is a pivot point to form her life and brings her to the fullest love .

Great book but…

A GREAT book!! Definitely reading the rest of the series! But, a personal preference, I was hoping for a little more action or dramatics😂 especially with the laundry mat scene🤷‍♀️
