A theory in practice

I liked that there were examples to work through so it was a theory in practice. Powerful for those studying business finance, but for business owners, the formulae may appear complex and challenging.

Financial Analysis

As a beginner to these terms and concepts, this book and its side-by-side explanation style has been very helpful in beginning to make some sense of this jargon.

Very solid

I built an excel workbook with all the computations this book provides along with my own financial Analysis and this book was key in making sure everything was correct. Keep in mind that it is designed for people new to this financial language and not for advanced applications.

Great knowledge

I feel confident in knowing how business transactions affect financial Reporting. It is interesting as you learn about the development of an applesauce company. If you want to develop a general knowledge base of accounting, then this is the book for you.

Finally able to understand my financial Reporting

This is a very solid quick reference book. Useful in the workplace because for a small firm you'll be bogged down by the daily transactions, then at the end of the month you transition to working on financials. Incidentally, the author's explanations would be useful in Excel.

One of the best

I appreciated that it started with clear, simple definitions of the basic concepts and explanations for why those concepts are useful, making no assumptions on the listener. Where the audiobook really shined was in showing exactly how the three core financial Reporting connected to each other
