Publisher's Summary

Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland was just the beginning…

Eighteen-year-old Alice recently had an unprecedented erotic experience. But her adventures have only just begun to heat up. Now she must travel through the looking glass…

After breaking up with her boyfriend, Lewis, Alice enters a strange fantasy world where every pleasure - no matter how kinky - is indulged. Alice is subjected to amorous escapades beyond her wildest dreams, and taken to the very limit of sexual endurance. During her carnal encounters with all manner of men and women, she is teased to tears by a bondage master, thoroughly used in a three way, enlightened to the sensual joys of a female touch, taken to a sex shop to test different erotic toys, given several very special piercings, and is dragged to the Hall of Denied Orgasms where she must fight the frumious Jabbercocky to save all of Looking Glass Land. And you know what we mean by "fight"…

This is for those with dark desires, who wish to explore erotic excess beyond the plain vanilla of everyday life. Follow Alice through the looking glass, if you dare…

Love it

A hilarious new take on erotica. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Not as Good as 1st But Continues in the Same Style

If you listened to volume 1 Alice in Wonderland you can expect more of the same. Massive lack of story, narrative that makes bad puns and refuses to take itself seriously, and piles of smut scenes that focus on new kinds of kink. This volume does seem to thread around a theme of not yucking someone else's yum. An education on being open to different forms of pleasure and not judging others for their sexual proclivities. In this volume we see Alice even more willing to choose to engage with others she doesn't even find attractive in attempt to have an open mind and explore the different roads to pleasure.

Again the narrator tries to create a spectrum of voices differentiating different characters and I actually feel that the narration was less annoying or distracting to me in this volume then the first. There is a great deal more F/F in this volume and even some scenes that deal more with M/M and a tendency towards group sex in a majority of the scenes described. There is much more acknowledgement and attention paid to the fact that this is all just Alice having fantasies, and the author again breaks the fourth wall talking directly to the audience again mentioning amazon.com.

This second volume stays true to the first volume continuing the same style with a little more of a message towards the importance of not judging yourself or others for what arouses you and also making mention to clarify the difference between what we fantasize about does not ever mean we would want to do these same things in real life, and feeling empowered to make our own decisions about what pleasure looks like for ourselves. Again expect cheesy jokes, no real plot, lots of very explicit sex scenes that circle around different kinds of kink, and only vague connections to the Alice narrative.

definitely interesting

I enjoyed this book very much, however, if you do not have an open mind this book may be a bit startling to you. It was definitely an interesting store funny, extreme and pretty steamy. I caution you though if you happen to be homophobic.

Not as good as the first, but still interesting

I absolutely loved Wonderland, but Looking Glass Land didn't impress me quite as much.
Instead of learning how to have amazing sex, Alice learns about the many kinks people have and how she should have an open mind and not be judgmental. (foot fetish, orgasm denial, cross dressing, swingers, etc.)
While these are lessons everyone should learn, it didn't make for as interesting of a read as Wonderland. There seemed to be fewer erotic scenes, and they weren't quite as hot. The characters were not nearly as funny as Wonderland, but there were still a few references to the writing of the book and buying on Amazon.

Overall, It was an okay read. Had I not read Wonderland first I'm sure I would have enjoyed this book much more.
