Voice horrible

Love the story !!
But the voice was all wrong for this !!!
Her ascent was horrible I almost couldn’t listen to her

Perfect listen for a Modest Mom

I love a good spin on the classic fairy tail stories. This was just the right amount of "Adult". It was more about the story than the intimacy but intimacy was put in at the right times. I'm very excited to continue with the other versions of the classic fairy tales I grew up with.

Was a fun listen

This started out strong but it almost felt rushed towards the end. I would have loved a more intense battle to round off the story. Overall, it was a great listen and a beautiful take on one of my favorite stories.

Average

It was an average book and performance in my opinion. The story seemed to lack real depth but was a unique spin to the old fairy tale.

A decent Beauty and the Beast retelling

As I make my way through a slew of fairytale retellings (mostly batb) I become more critical. This was a VERY good adult retelling. It isn't the BEST I've come across but it was good nonetheless. Vivienne Savage's spin on this tale and the type of "beast" the protagonist encounters is a unique and exciting approach to the story and I loved it!
