When an unexpected event occurs, Benny is left questioning everything he's ever known. Krystal, Darryl's first love, wants to make things work with her current boyfriend. Yet having Darryl back in her life sends her happy home spiraling out of control. And, last but not least, Avery, Connie's husband, doesn't care about anyone or anything when a financial opportunity comes his way - that is, until he notices how much time his wife is spending with their new neighbor.

Everything seems to be going well, until someone is murdered, and everyone becomes a prime suspect.

Loved it

Now the narrator for Krystal was a bit annoying but I didn't expect that ending AT ALL! This is one of my favorite books by Weber and he is known for his crazy twists!!

Awesome Book

Love it! The narratives were all great! You can really visualize the actual scenes. The very descriptive sexual content was extremely on fire! Love how the storyline kept you guessing and wondering.

I Loved IT!

These was never a dull moment. Action packed. Something always backfired and the ending was totally worth it!

Yes, I would recommend this book. It was not horrible but all of his other titles have been so good that this one just did not measure up the same way in my opinion.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Either more characters or more content to the existing characters.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I just prefer audiobooks. With a good narrator it can come across as two friends talking.

Beautiful book. And the story line was laid out well. The end surprises you!!! Hopefully there's a sequel to the first book.

I re-read this book to brush up the story line and get ready for the upcoming movie. Again I loved it! Can't wait for it to come to life on screen. 👍😌
