Publisher's Summary

A world of violent passions and inhuman hungers explodes as ancient taboos and primal desires collide.

Wolf Were Alpha Sylvan Mir wants nothing more than to keep her pregnant mate Drake safe in their secluded stronghold, deep in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, but enemies, political and praetern, force her into battle. Sylvan must confront the Vampire Chancellor Francesca, a one-time lover, about her part in a recent attack on Mir Laboratories—a confrontation that will test Sylvan’s alliance with the Vampires and lead to war. Francesca’s enforcer Michel, with a secret sexual conquest in Sylvan’s Pack and a Were centuri newly-turned Vampire, Lara under her command, may have divided loyalties, too. Lara, born to fight in service to the Were alpha, finds herself caught between two worlds, belonging to neither, and her unexpected obsession with an enemy Alpha puts ancient loyalties to the test. In a world where humans and praeterns conspire for the ultimate power, violence is a way of life...and death.

Loved this book. Lots of action. Becca and Jody are my favorites. There love story is amazing. If they ever get a spin off of just them, I would read it.

Was alright

I like the overall story, or layout, in all of the books. However, I feel, that it lacks depth and complexity. It's very predictable. I also think that it's too sexual. Instead of writing sex 'scenes' every few paragraphs, L.L. Raand could of added more intense story. If I could give it 2.5 stars I would.

Alpha and Omega superb

Would you listen to The Lone Hunt: Midnight Hunters, Book 4 again? Why?

Yes i would. I really love listening to the dominant weirs and vampires been dominated by their mates.

What other book might you compare The Lone Hunt: Midnight Hunters, Book 4 to, and why?

this is exactly like "the honor series". Once almost reach the end of the series it gets a little monotonous not as exciting as the others

Have you listened to any of Maxine Mitchell’s other performances? How does this one compare?

No this is the first one.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

at the end when they killed Andrew and sylvan would not shift back to skin and mourning

Any additional comments?

I hope this is not the last book in the series as i am pretty sure the story has not ended yet.
