Publisher's Summary

What if the Antichrist has already been revealed? The first book in a gripping new series by best-selling authors Sigmund Brouwer and Hank Hanegraaff explores the lives of Christians who struggle to survive and spread the Gospel during the climactic turbulence of "the last days". With the enemy seeking to decipher the code of John's letter, Revelation, and destroy the church, believers must cling to the hope that Revelation provides as they face the greatest of all persecutions.

This is a spellbinding story of faith and fulfillment of prophecy. Discover the "code" of Revelation as you begin to see it through the eyes of the persecuted believers to whom it was written.

to many

It is a good concept but there are to many stories intertwined. Lots of characters to keep up with. Got confusing because of this.

Great

This is a great book. It has enough going on to keep it interesting and me guessing. Some great action.

Hard to follow.....

I have actually read this book multiple times. I loved it so much I thought I'd get the audiobook. I really wish I hadn't. The narrator speaks way to fast, which makes it really hard to follow. I ended up turning it off because I was completely lost.

Agree with Kristie

I completely agree with Kristie. There are so many characters and plot lines that I have had quite a time keeping up with them - it is virtually impossible. This was such a problem that I stopped listening for several days and went back to it later. I'm still struggling...

a window into first century Christianity

it took a chapter for me to get into it. i think it was mainly due to the larger number of character stories. but I left the book for a few months, and when I came back to it, I was really drawn in to the time period and the characters. having finished, I am now eager to read the next book in the series.

This needs to be a movie!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I'm starting the next one. It was intriguing and suspenseful. I love God's Word and this gives another way to enjoy it. Thank you for giving us some wholesome ways to be entertained and enjoy. PLEASE consider doing movies on this trilogy. It's AWESOME!

My favorite Christian fiction series

Excellent and complex narrative with lots of small threads. Reminds me in some ways of a Clancy story. Can't wait to listen to part 2.

Story moves a little slow to start. But still good

I liked how this story presented a different than normal end times view, while still keeping the story line relevant. The beginning of the story moves slow but picks up by the end for a good story.
