    "Wonderful fresh telling "

Very interesting to to have Anne approached in a way that contrasts the many other novels of her life.
Alison Weir has long been my favourite author of historical fiction, and I have enjoyed the first two books in the 6 wives series almost as much as innocent traitor, which I still believe to be her finest work.
I enjoyed the performance of Anna Bentinck, but the version I listened to needs editing, there are several mistakes and even a double take of the same initially mispronounced sentence.

    "Terrible Narrator"
Would you try another book written by Alison Weir or narrated by Anna Bentinck?

Yes i woud buy another book by Alison Weir but not narrated by Anna Bentick.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

    I wouldn't

What aspect of Anna Bentinck’s performance might you have changed?

I found her character voices very annoying, particularly Ann's. The way she narrated character conversations was farcial.

Was Six Tudor Queens: Anne Boleyn: A King's Obsession worth the listening time?

    Yes

    "Beautifully written and performed"

Never before have I felt so involved with a character that I felt I already knew. There is no fear of not enjoying this book because you already know how it ends. I was truly transported to these treacherous times and felt with Anne through her life. I loved this book.

    "Excellent book, fantastic narration"

This book had me captivated from start to finish! The performance was outstanding and I enjoyed the extra dimension added by Weir's skilled way of writing this in the first person from the view of the Anne Boleyn. The last few chapters are very challenging to get through because of Anne being sent to her execution but it is an audio book I would definitely listen to again. One of my favourite books!

    "Disappointing Narration"
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I love Alison Weir's books so always time well spent but disappointed by Narration

What other book might you compare Six Tudor Queens: Anne Boleyn: A King's Obsession to, and why?

Any of Alison Weirs books probably the first in this series

What three words best describe Anna Bentinck’s performance?

    Awful Henry voice

Did Six Tudor Queens: Anne Boleyn: A King's Obsession inspire you to do anything?

    No

    Any additional comments?

The story was great and I enjoyed Anne's journey and the introduction of the other characters involved in her life and death story. I found the Narration difficult to enjoy especially Henry's voice. I was really looking forward to this after buying the first one in the series but unusually for me with Alison Weir books I was kind of glad when it was finished.
