Two excellent plots ruined by poor execution

Book 1 DEVIL IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING
KIKI SWINSON

I was so surprised at how poorly written this story was as I listened. This felt more like a rough draft than a final version ready for publishing.

Pros
excellent plot

Cons
narrators had 2 modes-sleepy monotone or shrieking that felt like nails on a chalkboard (sorry)
unnecessary details felt like fillers
extremely poorly executed plot

Book 2- TWISTED DECEPTION
SAUNDRA

Pros
excellent plot idea

Cons
narrators had 2 modes-sleepy monotone or shrieking that felt like nails on a chalkboard (sorry)
unnecessary details felt like fillers
extremely poorly executed plot
name confusion i.e. a baby in the story was either called Aliyah or Elijah
ending was supposed to be a twist, but came off ludicrous
