Ballpinning

This story made me a wee bit edgy while walking through the graveyard on my way to work. Good story and GREAT narration!

I will recommend this to anyone that likes a scary story.

If anyone got here from the nosleep podcast, you will enjoy this!

Quick and good.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, it's a nice short little creepy story.

What did you like best about this story?

The opening was very strong.

Which character – as performed by Jessica McEvoy – was your favorite?

Lucy

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was, I did.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the story and Lucy's actions were interesting. If anything I'd say there needed to be a bit more development of the characters but for such a short story I really enjoyed it all.

Vicious, Hateful, Murderous--Good Times

If you could sum up Lucy Was No Typical Serial Killer in three words, what would they be?

Short, wicked, and memorable.

What did you like best about this story?

Lucy's character was fully realized in a very short space of storytelling. Credit both author and narrator for that.

Which character – as performed by Jessica McEvoy – was your favorite?

When Lucy screams profanity in her apartment, she dredges up the whole of the wretched, contemptible spirit that is Lucy. Just another tour de force from my favorite voice actress.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Oh, I laughed all the way through it. It was sick, malevolent. Such fun.

Any additional comments?

Well worth the three bucks!
