Some Good Psychological Suspense/Horror Stories.

Would you consider the audio edition of Chaos and Doom: A Short Story Collection to be better than the print version?

I never read the print version, but I imagine the audio book is better. The character voices add a lot to these stories, and audio books are better because you can do chores while listening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Chaos and Doom: A Short Story Collection?

That is a tie between three moments in three different stories. In "Demolition," James helplessly witnesses his mother being eaten alive by insects. That was memorable. In "Slaughtership," Eon tries to rescue the victims that are being taken from the cage on large metal hooks. I won't forget that. In "Clausterphobia," when the hero calls his girlfriend from the grave, literally. He was buried alive.

Which character – as performed by Adam Zens – was your favorite?

James, the main character from my favorite story "Demolition." He figures out how to defeat the evil curse on their land or does he? Mwaahahaha. Demolition is a creepy horror story that is engaging.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

100 Ways to Die or I Guess Just 7 or 8.

Any additional comments?

These are entertaining but intense psychological horror stories. They do not take themselves too seriously. These are for funzies, not for any political or moral content. Each is about the right length to listen to on an hour long commute. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Unfortunately the reader of this is the worst I have ever heard. I listen too a lot of books and I couldn’t get thru the first chapter. I tried different chapters but it was the same stiff reading. No emotion at all
