Amazing world development and characters

I haven’t read a fantasy romance novel this good in a long time. The characters aren’t insufferable and their dialogue is perfect. Just enough banter and understanding. All of the characters work well together and hold deep meaning into the story. The romance scenes aren’t out of place and help the story flow. Over all 10/10 in my book!

I was completely captivated by this audiobook! If you’re a fantasy romance lover this is a must!!

Started pretty good

The pros: good banter and chemistry between the MMC and FMC. The cons: the FMC was just too many things jammed into one character- she’s a princess, an exile, bound to dragons, an assassin, a trained warrior, a healer etc. it’s just not a plausible character arc. Also, the pacing of the story was off. It was OK and I did finish the book. It could have been better though.

Absolutely amazing!!

I loved this book! A great story line and such good storytelling! Cannot wait for the next book in the series!

All I have been looking for in one book

British narrator, badass FMC, devoted MMC, dragons, spicy spice, found family, doesn’t hate girly things, it’s literally perfect. Also the FMC is 25 years old. Can’t wait for the next book!

I didn't want to rate this book, but I need to do so to continue my review. I didn't finish it because I couldn't connect with the characters. There wasn't enough background information about the male protagonist to make me feel invested in him. I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator's voice was pleasant, but I didn't like the female narrator's voice when playing the male character. It was low, gritty, and almost whispered. I wasn't a fan. The story seemed good based on what I read, but it just wasn't for me. I would still recommend this book to others, though, because it's subjective.

Couldn’t stop listening

I loved this so much , I could not stop listening. The voice actress did a wonderful job. Such an amazing book.

Dragons, romance, plot, spice, and banter everything you could possibly want in a book!

The FMC is amazing, she is strong, fiesty but has a big heart and the best banter with the MMC who is also strong, and would burn the world for her with a hint of shadows. The book just starts off and right away you are pulled into this amazing story following Elowen as she fights to get her (5) soul bound dragons back. The banter and relationship between all of the characters will have you laughing and smiling all the way. It is an epic beginning to an adventurous and thrilling story. I’m so excited for book 2. Also the spice is just…. Chefs kiss.

Again another book I’ve left sitting on my TBR for too long & it takes me completely by surprise!

I think I loved everything about this book. No notes at all. I can’t wait for book 2!
