Publisher's summary

Eli is hurled through a portal into a magical world that follows some strange rules, and there's no one around to give him a tutorial. If that wasn't bad enough, the experimental tech in his head is acting up, causing all sorts of problems, and the nearest specialist might as well be a universe away. Thankfully, Eli has some new magic of his own that should help him survive in this dangerous new world.

Eyes of the Sign is the first book in a new series focused on the sequestered world of Lurra. Prepare yourself for some epic world-building in a LitRPG (GameLit) reality with magical powers, fantasy, power progression, systems, a ton of mystery, and lots more adventure!

Great book, but the AI reading, I didn’t like it.

I liked the overall story, but I didn’t really like the AI reading. It lacked emotion IMO and most of the characters sounded too similar.

It's a fun Premise.

There was some swearing, more towards the end but thankfully not everywhere. I enjoyed the characters and the plot was good. I wish I understood what happened with his brain computer better. I felt like it kind of left that hanging. It was exactly the RPG kind of book I wanted to read. thanks.

Great story, decent virtual voice

An isekai adventure that keeps moving forward at a very good pace for my ears
RE: Virtual voice: While I can't say it's as good as good narrators can do, it's much better than any of the mediocre or bad voice actors. The nuances of conversational tones are missing, yet it's still enjoyable and easy to listen to. I'll definitely be continuing to series!

Good start

It promises a lot, a little slow at first, but it works in the end, I will definitely look for the second one.

Great Story!

I really enjoyed this book!

The story was great! I enjoy LitRPG, This is an excellent example. I really enjoy the main character.

I have listened to a few "Virtual Voice" books, and this one was one of the best I have seen. I'm absolutely surprised how far the technology has come.

The main character grows throughout the story and starts off quite over powered. The author controls this by limiting his ability to understand and use these over powered skills. So the character has great potential down the line. Even with this potential, there are beings of significant power to challenge him at his greatest. So while he can handle lesser issues quite easily there is still the idea that things could go poorly for him.
