Fun Read

Perfect for Halloween 2020. I didn’t want to stop until it was finished. Enjoyed all the actors.

A Brilliant Rift in the Space-Time Continuum!

“Tower 57” masterfully contrasts the seedy world of a second-rate desert-based talk-radio station where conversations about UFOs and Bigfoot dominate the airwaves with the intrusion of a real, disembodied inter-dimensional entity seeking to save the world into the humdrum lives of the station’s crew—giving them, together with the US Army, the greatest challenge they have ever faced. With a masterfully written script, engaging characters, plenty of accurate, sophisticated banter about the history of UFOs and US government coverups, and plenty of clever plot twists, and truly surprising ending, “Tower 57” is highly entertaining! Anyone who loves radio and the paranormal—from ham operators to talk show fans—will find themselves easily swept into this story’s wormhole. I loved its little homage to Whitley Strieber, too. Bravo!!

Fun

I’m not sure if it’s the writing or performance that I thought was a little cheesy, but I think it might have been done intentionally in the style of the old radio shows. Ie- explaining verbally what is happening, when the scene already implies what happened, and the actors are sort of caricatures of certain types of personalities.

Either way, I listened to the whole thing in a day. I enjoyed the story a lot and wanted to know what happened next. I liked the concept of the story.

I’d recommend it, especially if you’re between books and don’t know what you want to listen to next like I was.

VERY ENTERTAINING

Such a good story! Each episode kept me wanting to move on to the next one. Tense, moving and a good ending

The voice actors were great as well - no grating or unpleasant voices. Wonderful all around!

Grabber

Story pulled me in at once. Had to mentally run to keep up with the plot zigzagging. Held my mind all the way. Looking forward to the authors’ next offering
