A Perfect Spooky Season Read

Gahhhhhh being back in this world has me giddy as heck. I absolutely adored these second gen kids; they are spitting images of their parents, but also their very own characters and it was such a perfect balance between nostalgia and something new. Sav did a wonderful job with not just Lucy and Asher, but all of the kids and I'm loving this new series.

The vibe was amazing too. Spooky ghost stories, secret societies and more bodies than a morgue; I had such a ball. Then we add in their long time mutual unrequited love, inexperience and possessiveness from both sides and this was dark academia perfection. I loved their spicier scenes and the slowish burn tension getting there.

The audio was great. Dane Anderson was a little deeper than I would have expected for Asher, but Raven Wildewood was fantastic as Lucy and together they put on an amazing production. Thank you so much to Bloom for the eARC and Sav for the PR Box. I loved this story so much!

The 2nd gen we all hoped for!

This book was PERFECT follow up to her 1st series and I loved the return of our beloved characters. In Sav we trust because this book was just the wild and wonderful ride I knew it would be!

Endless Love

I did an immersive read with the physical copy and audiobook. The audiobook was phenomenal and I highly recommend. The narrators brought Sav’s words to life in a magical way.

I’m a sucker for a childhood friends to lovers romance, especially if there was some sort of riff that made their friendship fracture. Endless Anger delivered!

I loved the dark academia vibes, the second gen characters, seeing characters from past lives, and the secret society vibes.

Great start to this next Gen series!

Being a huge Monsters & Muses fan, I knew I had to dive into this next-gen series the moment it dropped! It starts off a little slow, but the cameos from some of my favorite characters made every minute worth it.

Asher is absolutely Kal’s son—the pomegranate doesn’t fall far from the tree. And sweet Lucy? She’s his complete opposite in every way, yet somehow perfectly matched. She embraces his darkness without flinching, and their dynamic felt truly one-of-a-kind.

This one leaned more into mystery, with the romance taking a backseat—which is totally fine, just not quite what I was expecting going in. But overall? I still had such a great time with it!

The story

I loved it. I’m gonna read the entire promises and pomegranate series now. Which I probably should have started with it because it is in that family.
