I like the Trilogy.

Most folks I know would call this "Tween Porn" 😏
And in a very real way they would be correct, however I like the stories in the way they twist and turn outrageously!
My favorite character is the lead female's Mother😂😂😂😂😂 That woman is something else!
If you're a person who reads a lot of heavy psychological, si-fi, historical fiction, horror, or non-fiction like I do and want something "light" for entertainment sake only this would be something like that. This is one of my first real critiques (but I've been a customer for years) so please let me know if this review helps you "Constant Readers"

Upper YA story

I couldn't stop listening to this series until it was done! It's exciting and full of action! There is some cussing in this third book which wasn't present in the first two.

I wish the author could write a spin off story with our characters and what must surely follow. I'm just not ready to say goodbye to dee and dum! They totally made the series, outside our two main characters.

Angels With Attitude!!!

This fantasy was very YA and something I would not normally enjoy so much BUT the world building was vivid and I was immediately sucked in and stayed up till 2 am last night reading... that was untill I passed out and got smacked in the face by my iPad! BUT I was not deterred and switched to the Audibook version which I also enjoyed - mostly because the narrator (Caitlin Davies) actually sounded like a 17 year old!

The witty banter and and the fast-paced plot kept me captivated throughout - but what was unique to me was actually reading a book about Angels instead of watching their story in a movie (City of Angels, Constantine and Legion) or TV (Angel and Castiel)!

On to book 2.

This series is nuts.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I loved this series! Overall, the Peryn and End of Days series is a thrilling and imaginative ride, and I was engrossed from the very first page (no lie!). Susan Ee created a world that’s strikingly compelling and experiencing it through Penryn’s POV was an addiction I wasn’t even trying to quit. I have a suspicion that Susan Ee is more than a little insane, but I love her twisted mind!

Any additional comments?

End of Days was a satisfying conclusion for me. I wonder, though, if hardcore fantasy and paranormal lovers would be satisfied with the ending. I say this because it was a relatively short installment for all the loose ends that needed tying up. I felt the back story was a little weak, but I was invested enough in the two protagonists and seeing their story play out, that I didn’t need perfect world building. End of Days was an exhilarating ride and I loved seeing all the captivating characters in full bloom.

Fans of action-packed, emotional, humorous, thrilling, twisted, manic reads will love this series. I can honestly say that there was never a moment when I was bored, even during the times I was frustrated with the emotional progress between Penryn and Raffe’s relationship. I’d recommend this series to PNR lovers who’ve enjoyed Jennifer L. Armentrout or Karen Marie Moning. Susan Ee has grabbed my attention, and I am now a fan. I can’t wait to see what her crazy, creative mind cooks up next.

Fantastic end!

Apocalyptic stories have never really interested me. I chose the first book from Kindle Unlimited because I was desperate for something to download and read before I left the house. Within the first few chapters I couldn't put it down. I blew through the first and second books quickly, and had to wait for the final book to be released. It was released Tuesday. Completely worth the wait!

Weird, funny, sad, scary, intense, and infuriating. This book is a roller coaster ride I will definitely go on again.

No spoilers

Great story—very well written, the characters really come to life! Only negative is it’s written a little young ( but not annoyingly so—lead character pokes fun at herself for being a teenager). Outstanding narrator—will definitely seek out her works!

I just couldn't put it down!

This series by far exceeded my expectations! The characters were well thought out and very diverse. My favorite character by far was the mother. 🤣 I would reread this again and again just to shake my head and chuckle at her character.
I love the peak inside the world of angles! And this book definitely had you guessing what was going to happen next and had quite a few plot twists!
Definitely recommend this series!

Perfect ending to an amazing Series.

I have to say I may play these ones a few more times. Every good book deserves a second read right? Susan Ee definitely got this series right and the narration was perfectly executed.

Angels or Gang Members?

Would you try another book from Susan Ee and/or Caitlin Davies?

I listened to the three books in the series, and for me, the last one was the worst. I really expected greater resolution on the conflict that would cause Angels to behave like thugs, and no better than gang members. Very shallow and superficial. I did love the characters however and wanted to see it through, I just thought there was potential for something a little more interesting... like maybe the mother had a more interesting background or connections to the angels, the sister surfaced as something more of a leader, and the Angels had any depth of character.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Seemed like a good ending for a teenage girl, but not for me, it caused a few minutes of eye rolling... and "you have got to be kidding".

Was End of Days worth the listening time?

Since I had listened (and enjoyed) the first two books, I was compelled to hear the conclusion, but without any attempt to show that Angels could somehow differentiate between good and bad behavior, possess empathy, compassion, and ethical integrity... the book just seemed rather ridiculous. It was nothing more than a rumble...with the angles looking no more intelligent than cave men.
