Publisher's summary

You are one click away from learning how to introduce an e-collar in your dog training to get your dog to stop barking excessively and follow your commands without you resorting to yelling, shouting, or beating your dog!

Dogs don’t just become cute/adorable furry friends just because you’ve brought them home, have a fancy house for them, play with them and have you and the kids to walk and play with them.

They become those adorable creatures through training. In fact, without training, excessive barking, pulling of the leash, grawling, aggression, and other unpleasant behaviors pop up all the time.

What’s more, it may be an uphill task to train your dog, especially if it is hyperactive, untrained, and aggressive.

That’s where the e-collar comes in to become the one tool that makes all the difference in obedience training your furry friend to obey everything you want him/her to.

What exactly is a collar and what does it do?

How does the e-collar do that everything else does not do that makes it such an ideal dog training tool?

How do you introduce your dog to an e-collar even if he/she is refusing to do so?

How does the e-collar help stop a dog’s excessive barking and other unpleasant behaviors?

Is the e-collar safe for a dog?

How can you make the most of a dog’s collar to bring the best behavior out of your dog?

If you have these and other related questions, this book is for you so keep reading, as it covers the ins and outs of e-collars as the ultimate dog-training tool.

More precisely, this book covers:

  • The author’s personal experience with using an e-collar to train dogs
  • How to condition your dog to the collar
  • Unique challenges you are likely to experience with collar training big dogs
  • Everything you need to know about an e-collar and how you can use it to train your dog
  • The right age for you to start training your dog using an e-collar

  • Why a remote controlled training collar is best
  • The things that you should consider before using an e-collar on your dog
  • Powerful tips that you need to be aware of and implement if you are to make collar training effective
  • How you should (and should not) use e-collars
  • The different types of training collars and how they work

  • How and why you should train your dog using an electric collar
  • The pros and cons of using an electric collar to train your dog
  • The essentials of using dog collars to train your dog
  • Answers to some of the questions you may have about using e-collar for training

Atrocious

It is a shame this made it to audible. The text read makes no sense. All of the 5 star reviews were written on like two separate dates, they're probably all fake. This book doesn't help at all and is an absolute waste of money.

This is literally the worst use of my money I've ever spent it on.

Fraud!? First book I’ve ever exchanged.

What’s with this book? I knew something was off when the narrator called the author “Robert Bark” and not Barker.

Grammatically, it’s all over the place and doesn’t feel like it was read from a natural piece of writing. For example, where it should say “a 300meter range”, it says “a 300meter variety”. Also, sentences like “...when you go to family pet your dog”... huh??! Odd words are thrown in here and there. And later when talking about The Educator (a popular e-collar), the book switches between calling it The Educator and “The Teacher”.

I know I’m not making much sense, but this “book” feels like someone took a poorly written article, did some kind of search and replace on a ton of the words and brought it together very in-cohesively. Or... maybe it was written in a different language and they Google Translated it?!

Either way, I can’t explain it. I spent a truly frustrating 45min trying to decipher what the narrator was saying. Stay away... it’s some sort of fraudulent money grab.

This book is a complete waste of time and money.

Useless… the entire thing is like listening to a choppy commercial. It was painful. No useful information or instruction with lots of repetition and self ego stroking. NO THANKS

Not a

I’m not even sure what I just listened to. The first hour is predominantly consumer reviews of various different e collar options, their battery life and what color options are available. The remainder of the book must be in bullet point format with various anecdotal stories that the author experienced while conducting training that do not apply to the chapter title. There is no linear training on how to actually familiarize yourself with the e-collar training process. Maybe there are visual references in the book that do not translate in this format. Unfortunately, I suppose I’ll be moving on to the next e-collar training book...
