The story is pretty good, but the voice acting is a little weak.

From the name, I’m assuming the voice actor is male, but surprisingly he does female voices better than male ones. Unfortunately the high pitch voice makes the lead sound more nasal and winey than intended. But to be fair, his delivery on female characters surprisingly good, which male voice actors are more likely struggle with.

The story itself doesn’t stand out too much from other Isekai stories except for a few notable details. Him literally dying many times to achieve his strength was compelling and helped the his OP abilities feel earned. And everything being the result of a game for the gods is an interesting hook that I think helps elevate the story.

I enjoyed this story! A different take, and the best thing is I got it as part of my membership. I highly recommend this book! Narrator did a good job, not sure why the other reviewer was so harsh about narration but I enjoyed the tale. Looking forward to the next book!!

It is a different take on an over powered MC. Spend the credit. I am waiting on next book.

A Great Light Novel

I would like to thank Seven Seas for bringing us another great light novel. I really enjoyed the humor of this book and that the MC eventually caught on to how strong he was after leaving the dungeon. The oblivious MC trope gets tired fast, so I'm glad this one had some basic deductive reasoning skills. I did get a little annoyed and disinterested towards the middle of the book with the super stereotypical a-hole adventurer antagonist but hey, at least the writer didn't have the MC fighting evil slavers. I'm definitely interested in continuing the series. The writer has shown a lot of promise and some uniqueness, so I hope they can keep the bulk of the next book filled with original ideas.
