The light novel of a beloved series

It’s nice to finally read (listen) to the original content for a favorite series! I was always a big fan of the anime, so getting to read the original was interesting, even if the order of events confused me at first. Great start to a great series!

I love all the cute bear theming

Very chill and cozy book, I hope the next book has more interaction with friends, maybe a little more emotions and digging deeper into characters thoughts and background. i really liked the parts with Fina

If you liked the anime, you will love the book. (of course you would)

You can never go wrong, when you have the English voice actress of the anime reading the story.

Marissa Lenti brings Yuna to life

This is a great cozy isekai LitRPG (no stats though), and Mrissa Lenti is great as Yuna in the anime, and brings all the characters to life.

Okay so I really love this anime and I get distracted easy so I can't just have one playing in the background - but having this series as an audio book is nice because there's absolutely nothing to look at so I can enjoy an old fav in a new format while still getting my stuff done in the evenings

Cute

This was as cute and funny as you would have guessed. However, I didn't expect the main character to be so OP right from the start. Her progression is just ridiculously fast. Of course, this does come at the expense of all her power, magic, and skills coming from the ridiculous bear costume, so she really must wear it all the time if she doesn't want to be just as weak and useless as she was on Earth.

I was, however, happy that she has a spine and quickly puts idiots in their place. My only real complaints are the excessive number of times we have to hear her entire stat sheet, and the three extremely redundant chapters from another character's point of view but with almost no new information introduced - certainly nothing the reader could not already infer. That is a terrible writing practice so I hope the author drops it going further.

I can't bear waiting for the next one.

Saw book, bought book, listened to book without pausing. I didn't actually think it would be as good as it is. Marissa Lenti is perfect. The only thing that makes the book not perfect is that it ended.

Just fun

If you’re looking for a fun slice of life fantasy series it’s hard to find a better one than this. Whether it’s the novels, the manga or the anime Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is just a fantastic story that keeps you coming back for more. The audiobook is narrated by the anime’s English main voice actress and she does a fantastic job as always with the main character, and even with the ones that she doesn’t voice in the show. You couldn’t ask for a better adaptation.

Only one thing I disliked.

Everything is great except the other POV's. Narrator killed it, the story itself is fun and interesting, the world is well crafted, all that good stuff. I am looking forward to the next audiobooks.

What I didn't like were the other character POV's. Every time they happened, it was very literally just a recap of what has already been shown from the MC's POV. It always felt like a waste of time, because thats all fhey were. Recaps.
