Heroine Actually is a Spoiled Brat

By 3/5 of the way through the book I was hoping Brody would ditch Jesse and find someone else. Jesse behaves like an immature high schooler, and makes poor decisions that belie her supposedly world-wise model background. In addition she spends days and days delaying actually having a real talk with him; it’s ridiculous. He’s literally begged her to do something as small as talk to him and she just cries and runs. Really he deserves better.

It was ok

The story was good, however the male narrator did not do a good female voice. The book would have been a lot better if it was just read by Ava Erickson. A bad narration can make a good book so hard to get thru.

SOOOO GOOD!

LOVED Jessa & Brody - would love to get more just about them! I got the feels so many times throughout this book. Loved the female voice! but the male was rough to listen to.

great series!

love this series! Great storyline and believable characters. the female lead was good but the male lead was fantastic. he has a way of delivering his lines in a way that you can imagine him sitting in a room with you just having an everyday conversation. he was emotional and heartfelt in his performance.

Great story, poor narration

The book is great as is the female narrator, unfortunately this male narrator is a challenge to listen too. Between his accent and poor voices for the female characters it takes you out of the story.

Not good!!!

I loved Jessie and couldn’t stand Jessa. I mean her reason for leaving was so stupid and could have been cleared up with a discussion. Brody didn’t know how to have a adult conversation for a man that ran a successful business. I am disappointed I will be ending this series here

Brody needs therapy, stat.

I wanted to enjoy the storyline of Jessa cleaning up the messes she made when her trauma responses kicked in, but Brody constantly yelling at her, punishing her, and smashing that glass? Classic markers of an abuser. Even with the happy ending, I still hate Brody and the way he treats Jessa.

Narrators make a difference

Ava Erickson is always great but I really did not like the male narrator.

Not as good as book one.

I did not like the character of Brody. He was mean, a bully, and very judgmental of others. Sean Criden’s narration of Brody did not sound right.

A drawn out disappointment😩

This book for me was a letdown. After reading the first book I thought the supporting characters were set up to be very interesting and that their stories would be an interesting and fun read. That was not the case with this story. Although this book was Brody and Jessa’s love story it was mostly just Jessa’s story, she was the one that really set the tone for the story. I found Jessa to be annoying and childish. I felt like the story really dragged out and lots of parts were just redundant. It took everything in me not to skip ahead. I was trying to see if the book would at any point in time redeem itself, it did not. For me the big reveal was anti-climactic and definitely not worth the long drawn out wait. I feel like this was a waste of my time. All in all, if the not book in this series continues in this manner I will be dropping this series and finding something else.

Great

I like Dirty series. Hot, steamy, great story line. Dirty like Brody is a great book. the reason I gave 4 stars on the story is becasue at some point I was just a bit put off at how undecided Jessa was. is like she was so confused on what she was doing. but then I really like how the conflict inside her is described. Brody well, is an amazing characther even though sometimes he does not listen propely.

Hmmmmm

I really wanted to like this as I love the other books. The story became very annoying nearing the end i dont think it is that normal to with hold things from someone for so long.
Now I dont know if it was that frustrating because I knew the ending from a review or if I have a low tolerance for unnecessary arguments, I felt like I was screaming at them to get their crap together....
Saying all this,, I did enjoy the book and I will have to give it another go to see if now I know the whole story if it is less annoying to listen to. Please dont think I'm saying it's a rubbish book as it really wasn't. 📖📙📚
