Loved

This was my first Claire Contreras book and I'm trying to figure out which one of her books to go to next. The only downfall to this book was when Kasha Kensington needed to switch to a manly voice especially when the man was upset and she needed to come across that way. Other then that I 10/10 recommend this book, it definitely kept me on my toes.

Love that even though it could’ve been 2 books, it’s was just 1. Even though Lachlan was super possessive it was really endearing and hot! Laylas story is so incredibly sad but she remains such a powerful strong person. There is just everything you want in a story, mystery, angst, banter, spice, emotional roller coaster…it was just really a fantastic book. The narration is in dual but Kasha and Joe do a great job depicting the opposite roles. Not only that, they both do such a great job creating different voices for the other characters. Kasha was new to me but I really loved her narration style. Great smoky sultry voice with a phenomenal job at really performing the story. If you like obsessive possessive stories with mystery then definitely get this book!
