Why did they go with this narrator?

It’s almost funny! The narrator is absolutely terrible! At one point he starts coughing while narrating and they didn’t bother to edit it out! 😂

The voice ruined the book

I disliked the voice, and the audio quality was grainy at times. The main story was helpful in learning though.

Good book ruined by terrible reader.

Really good content but the reading was distractingly misread. The listener is left wondering if the reader was drunk. Countless mispronunciations of the same word or constant misreading of the same words. Linehan (the founder of DBT) was pronounced “Line-Ham”, “Lina-Ham”, “lin-e-ah-ur-hams”, “Linehan-a-man” or DBT as BDT, DBTee-ah. Conduct as “Con-duh” Strategies as “Stra-teg-Eric”, “Ale-ya-nateged”, “A-feel-era-actions”, “line-ah-e-ur-ir”, “See-mom-ah-ler-lee” and SP on.
