A must read for all mothers

I truly enjoyed reading this book. If you need to look to godly mothers, this is the book. The mothers in this book were not perfect and did not have perfect lives. Their sons were not perfect and some were in fact, scoundrels. And yet, with determination the mothers prayed for their sons, taught them the word, and trusted in God to change their hearts in his time.

So encouraging and inspiring

What a wonderful short book for moms who are doubting their influence in their kids lives or discouraged that they are failing. Learning from the examples of other mothers who raised kids in poverty, or as a single mother, or as a mother with an unsaved spouse, or a mother who came to Christ late in her life - these are all so encouraging. This is definitely a book you should listen to and revisit for encouragement.

This was a quick book to finish and was really encouraging as a mom trying to raise children in a way that pleases the Lord.

Such an encouraging, challenging, beautiful book! It brought on many tears as it told about so many women influencing great men of God by being faithful to Him.

This book is such an encouragement for those who are parenting and desire to raise up their children to live God and His Word. The examples within these 11 chapters stir a desire to do for your children what these women have done for theirs. Even I, as a father, have been helped by this book to assure that I am giving everything I have to parent my children so that they see Christ and love Him.
