In these dark and uncertain times, this book is an absolute must in a parent's arsenal for their adult children!

What a blessing!

Just what I needed at this time. I have been praying for God to show me how to pray for my adult children. I remembered the book I read, “ The Power of a Praying Wife”. I looked up all of Stormie’s books and there it was.
I plan on continuing to read a Chapter a day, even though I’m finished, so I can continue these prayers everyday. Thank you Stormie!

NEEDED THIS

I am always a huge fan of the author reading their written words. I feel like there’s more power to what is being taught when the author can convey feelings and emotions through tonal inflections. In this particular instance, I was not sure about what I should expect. I just knew I needed something- ANYTHING that I could get my hands on to help encourage me with my adult children. I decided to give it a try, and I can honestly say I do not regret one second of it! I listened to the entire book in one night while editing pictures on my computer. Everyone in my home was asleep and I thought it was better than listening to trash TV while I worked. I was also desperate after a rather difficult fight with my adult teenage daughter. Stormie’s voice was soothing and peaceful- very easy to listen to. Her words were like honey to the soul! I was encouraged, inspired, and challenged as I listened to each new chapter. I so appreciated the incredible wisdom shared by Stormie in this book. God really spoke to me, as I listened to each and every scripture and prayer. I was impassioned with every challenge and illustration shared. I got so excited while listening that I had to order the paperback copy just so I could write notes on the pages and re-read them as often as needed. When I started the book, I felt hopeless. When it ended, I was inspired, encouraged, and excited about what the future holds for my family, and for myself. Thank you for your words, Ms. Omartian! What a gift!

A Must Read for Parents

This book was a life changer and a life saver. Stormie addresses every single area in which Satan seeks to devour our children and gives practical measures by which parents can battle in spiritual warfare on behalf of them.

Hope and promises for our children

This book has filled me with hope as I oftentimes find it difficult to pray for my boys (19 and 23). I have the hardcopy and have underlined, highlighted, and written through the pages. I love this Audible book, however, because it feels as if Stormie is right here praying over my boys with me (where 2 or more are gathered in His name, so to speak). Life is busy and it's nice to put this book on and just hear encouragement about these precious boys while I'm physically doing other things. I have listened and re-listened to several chapters several times.
