Learn the power of prayer

For many people, prayer plays a big part in their spirituality and religion. In this book, you will learn not only how to pray and also use it as a tool to refocus yourself and find meaning and purpose in your life with a focus on motherhood and a mother's role in the family. Though the book is geared toward Christian, as many chapters quote Bible and scriptures, I think even non-Christians can benefit from the book. One thing I learned from this book is to accept the things that are out of your control and use prayer to anchor us--stay patient, and keep our faith.

As a mother it is easy to doubt yourself with negative thoughts. This book has enlightened me and has taught me to be confident in myself and my abilities. I found the stories of faithful women truly inspirational.
I recommend this book to every mom out there!

Good read!

This was a very encouraging book and I especially connected with the chapter about communicating with our children and the tone we use. I like that it encourages reliance on prayer before trying to fix our Iives ourselves based on our limited view of the big picture. I didn't care for the verses using old English, but that's simply a personal preference.

Loved it!

As a woman of faith and a mother to two young boys, I found this book to be such a source of inspiration. The author beautiful interwoven personal experiences, anecdotes, and stories about her journey as a mother and follower of Jesus. I greatly appreciate her vulnerability as she shared not only her shortcomings but also her victories. I would highly recommend this book to any woman wanting to grow in her prayer life and raise a family that is God-centered.
