fair Were, Vamp story.

I usually turn off stories where the main protagonist gets too powerful too quickly but the human side story of emotional turmoil allowed me to stay.

I was pretty involved to the end even though it was a chick flick.

Great story

I love this series. I have read it a couple of times, and just got the audio book. I like the mix of so many different species, government involvement, possessive alpha, magic, shamans, and of course, visions of mates by the matefinder. This storyline differs from so many others. It is refreshing.

Good read until the redundancy

how is it that they can share their gifts yet when time was needed to share her silver immunity she just let them take him in the helicopter... um dumb, dd dumb, dumb, dumb. really lost interest very quickly the 1st book kept me up after that hiccup I fell asleep it's like she can use his speed at will everyday but he can't use her immunity at will??? would've been a good trilogy but I only got thru 1 3/4 of the book.

Its interesting, just not quite good enough.

The actual story has a lot of potential, quite unique for this genre, but it's lacking in writing skill somewhat. So I keep listening to the series because the basis for it is a great one. But I find it easy to drift off when listening and have yo rewind some parts. And some of the dialogue is truly terrible.

Devi

This is a great second book in the series, it has more fighting, more heart ache and pain. Read brilliantly by Data Rosenberg.

Overall good sequel

Overall I really liked the story. Gets a little repetitive in parts. It's worth persevering through the Native American tribal stuff if it's not your thing. It's not my thing, not being from the US and not overly interested in spirituality it was a bit of a struggle. Still a good book though.
