Publisher's summary

I wasn’t supposed to fall in love with my wife. That wasn’t part of the plan.

From the moment I first laid eyes on Madelena De Léon, I felt a primal urge to protect her. Keep her safe. Her father had failed her. I would not.

She is innocent, and I have no business taking her to my bed. But Madelena and I are bonded. Our destinies inexplicably linked. As is our survival.

My past is dark. I’ve made many enemies, and betrayal runs rampant in my world. But sometimes those closest to you are the most dangerous of all.

If I was a better man, I would let her go. I know it’s the only way to keep her safe.

But any goodness I had in me vanished long ago. I am a man condemned. I want what I want.

And what I want is her.

Excellent

I really liked this book. I believe this is my first book/series by NK. The narrators were on point! At one point I was fearful for the characters however, the characters needed a little more backbone. I highly recommend this book.

Deliver Me From Evil

Book#2 is the conclusion of Santos & Magdalena’s love story it has an angsty & complicated storyline filled with poor choices and some severe consequences. I was hoping for a great book from Natasha Knight what I got was just okay. The narration was off, the two narrators were good separately but together they just didn’t work they didn’t have any chemistry together. The ending was rushed and kinda lackluster at least they got an HEA❣️
Is it worth the credit? Maybe🤔 I’m not really sure.

Yowza!!!

Natasha Knight wrote the best book. It’s a mystery, thriller and romance all rolled into one. It starts with the cliffhanger from the first book and moves like puzzle pieces fitting into a frame. Building up the suspense as if you’re riding a huge roller coaster with the highs and lows. The ending may shock or amaze you.

Loved the story and narration

The narrators brought this story to life. I love her work and listen to her oils often.

Dark story, overall good.

Definitely dark! It is the wrap up to this dark story. I enjoyed the narrators.

The second book did not disappoint...

I cannot understand why this does not have at least a 4.5 rating. The second book is better than the first one and the first one was good. Everything comes together in a very unique way and there are several twists and turns that are definitely no anticipated. I thought this was a great end to The Augustine Brothers and totally worth the credit.

I really love this book

I love this continuation of this
Story. I wish at least one of Santos’s two friends had somehow survived, maybe Van.

Rough but good!

Rough but good story line. I stayed interested, he’s really frustrating for most of the book but deep down a good man.
