5 star, love this book

I was glued to this book, listened until over! The synopsis does not do this justice. There are many UNEXPECTED twists and turns on both sides... but love overcomes everything. It’s a stand-alone with HEA. Narrators did outstanding job! Enjoy!

Imma need the male narrator to calm down...

I am half way through this book and the male narrator is driving me up the highest wall you can fathom. He completely ruins the steamy parts by sounding like he's a sports reporter talking about the BIGGEST play of a game. Almost like he's a teenage boy that's never been with a woman & he's excited to tell his friends what happened. Very weird and very off-putting... BUT, I am interested in the story so that and the female narrator are the only things keeping me from throwing my phone across the room

Really great story

It has a depth of realism not expected but grabs you the more you read and keeps ton the edge of your seat.

Wow this was a great book..

These were new narrators for me and I really enjoyed them.. I do have my favorites but think it is good to listen to other voices..

this book grabs you right from the beginning and won't let you go until the end. You may intend to listen to a couple of hours but find that you have just finished the entire book!!!

A total fiction... hard to believe

The story is too much of a fairytale. Hard to believe at times.

The narration is perfect.

didn't like heroine

the story was pretty thin and pretty lame. again, please stop making the women so stupid. the idea that she just takes off willy billy in a car with no idea where she is going and is not using gos -just silly.

Meh, Not too bad. The heroine really annoyed me…

Natasha Knight has done way better….The story had great bones but the heroine was so Naive! For someone who had been threw so much, met so many monsters in her past it didn’t really make sense. 🙄😩Yet the story was decent.

Hawk the anti-hero was brooding, sexy, your typical alpha. He had a sweet side to him that surprised me as much as they heroine and we both liked it.😂😂 The heroine was like I already said unbelievable, un-relatable at times, and very naive. Still, I enjoyed the couple’s chemistry and their sex was hot!!! Loved the HEA!

Narration was okay, I’m not a huge fan of Michael Pierce, I have to be honest, but this was one of his less dramatic readings so it wasn’t that bad. The sex scenes he got a little too breathy and weird, other than that he did awesome. Mackenzie Wright was perfect for the female! 👏🏾👏🏾

Devil’s Bargain

This book/listen was a mixed bag not sure I liked or hated it…Yet I listened to the whole damn thing and was at least happy with the HEA. The narration was comical at times and then annoyed by the animated male voice and the female was so whinny & annoying. So is it worth the credit? I would say Maybe! The storyline was good but the narration was so off it wrecked the enjoyability of all the possibilities this book had and that’s too bad.
