Overall good story. The narrators did a great job. It was a bit of a slow burn. I give the spicy scenes 4/5.

very good plot

I liked the plot, it had some twists and wasn't ridiculously predictable. it has some laugh out loud moments. The characters were unique, other than the female lead who did the predictable overreation run away thing, hero comes to save her.

Not typical mafia man

I’ll start off by saying the narrators are great! The story has good bones but I normally don’t read about mafia men that are so “open” with their woman, although she is said to like it. Plus he puts her in danger knowingly and I’m not used to that either. So, sadly I’m not interested in the second book because I can tell just by the sample the MMC is an arsehole. And someone left a review that confirmed my suspicions. Some may like these types of men but I like mine more protective.

loved the earthyness of the book! Not many books this explicit, this one will probably be banned soon by the pedophiles in the Trump administration.

Trying to outrun her past and to stay safe , the best safe spot is with the enemy.

One of my favorite mafia plots and romance connection between Dante and “Vanessa” this is definitely a must read

Enemies to lovers with a twist

I love that this book isn't about young characters, but closer to midlife. The story moves along nicely, and the narration is on point. The spice is ghost pepper hot too.

Very slight 'spoiler alert'

She hates him, but he can't figure out why, and every time he starts to break through, she reminds herself again. Meanwhile, he's very protective and jealous of her.
