listened to entire series twice, mainly for the performance and narration but also for the story line.

love it

I get why some people may not like the narrator but I liked her. the story is funny and I laughed a lot. the story didn't give any signs to an end besides the time limit.... so when it did I started to laughed and yelled f.u. because I wasn't expecting it hahaha.

Enjoyable tale

I liked this audiobook. I liked the fast pace and enjoyed the characters. I would of liked it to be longer as it came to a close too soon for my taste.

If you are into supernatural stories read this.
Cassandra does an amazing telling she is one of the favorite to listen to.

Dead To Me

I enjoyed the book and narrator very much, loved the sarcasm and deadpan humor! Only complaint is that there seemed to be some glitch in the audible book as I would hear two different story lines at the same time. Looking forward to the next book!

I absolutely fell in love with Darby while reading the book. So naturally I had to buy the ebook.
Darby is a coffee addict in a constant state of Hangry lol. The narrator captures this perfectly it was an absolute joy listening to Darby figuring herself out

Good New To Me Series

Darby is a detective with the Haunted Peak, TN police department. Her latest murder victim is a girl from her high school. I liked this audiobook, people who can see and help ghosts are my kinda books. I liked Darby, she's snarky and sarcastic, I love it. This was a fast paced mystery and it was just perfect for the moment. I'll be finishing this series.

You know how you feel about your favorite authors, you love their characters and series so much that when something new comes out you dive straight in, no holding back. Well, that was me with this book. Meeting Darby and being there when she gets her butt in a sling was the best.

Darby is a bad-arse cop who happens to see dead people. It’s no movie, their real. They’re also about to get her into some deep doggy pop she’s going to have to crawl out of, guns blazing and magic flying. It’s one thing to be in a world you don’t understand it’s another to be dropped into the middle of a battle field and not a have a freaking clue as to what’s the right thing to do. She figures it out though with some unexpected help.

Darby has taught me one thing... when the chips are down, don’t fold, kick some arse! I can’t not freaking wait for the next book in this series.
