Is there anything you would change about this book?

The ending was nothing like the beautiful creatures books. I know its just a book, but it still brings tears to my eyes thinking about how it ended. It seems as though a lot of issues are left unresolved, and I would love another couple of books to resolve those issues as well as fix the ending of this book. What's up with the rings? Why don't they get help from family? I am pretty sure the rest of the family was involved in the death of Abraham, and it seems like he would want to take it out on all of them.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Interesting to be inside of Rid's head and get to know her better. Least interesting or most devastating: Even in Death the Bad Guy Wins.

What about Khristine Hvam’s performance did you like?

Performed well.

Could you see Dangerous Creatures being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I would watch it, as long as this was season one and there are a lot more seasons to explain what is going on and the end wasn't the end that I am left thinking it is.

Making this book into a series by adding a second book would improve my rating to five stars.

Amazing Story but Terribly Sad ⚠️SPOILER⚠️

Sad at the end, I might be the only person who ships Rid and Nox more than Rid and Link. I am absolutely devastated that Nox might die (yes I still have hope), AND I am going to say that I had suspicions about the boy on the beach being Nox what happened at the end of ch. 34 only confirmed my theory but other than my crying I'm my bed at 5 am due to a book AMAZING story will definitely recommend to my friends

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have loved this entire series and this title was no disappointment, it is amazing to hear it as an audio book as it has its own soundtrack and each unique character which helps set the mood for each part. I can not imagine reading the printed version of these books and loving them as much as the audio production, so great. I can not wait for the next part of this spin off series!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Ridley, always have. She's the bad girl that doesn't want to be bad, or at least she won't admit it. fantastic getting to see more of her history, and Shrinky Dink Link:)

What does Khristine Hvam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

she is one of my favorite narrators so is Kevin T Collins, they are a match made in heaven and do a great job with this series

Link and Ridley's story apart from the "Beautiful Creatures" series which I think was a great idea! They definitely have a story to tell. Throughout the "Beautiful Creatures" books, they are on-again/off-again quite frequently. I felt like they needed to just go ahead and make up their minds about each other.

In this story, they are both headed to NYC for Link to try and make it BIG in a band. Little does he know, Ridley is selling him out to Lennox Gates to pay off a debt she owes from cheating in a game. She thinks she can deliver him and get him out of this mess but this "little siren" is way over her head because she has a bigger bounty on her than she realizes! From the grave, Abraham Ravenwood wants her and Link dead to avenge his death and he is working through Lennox to make sure that happens.

Along the way, Link and Ridley will fight like they always do. During their "off" time, someone becomes interested in Link because she is so much like him and they work very close together. Ridley will run off because she feels unwanted and unloved...that's how she copes with these feelings and into the arms of Lennox Gates. We learn a lot more about him in this time.

Silas Ravenwood has been charged with taking over the job for Lennox since he is becoming too soft toward Ridley. They must devise a plan to trick Silas or all 3 of their lives will be on the line.

The ending is not what I thought it would be. I'm not going to lie...I really want Ridley to be with Lennox because they definitely belong together and I think they both equally love each other. I know, I know...fate has other plans! I'm very curious to see what will happen in the next book.

I will also say this audible book was awesome because sound effects were used and they actually had music and singing involved as well. I really wish more audible books used those to their disposal because it really enhances the experience of reading!

The Fire, and Ridleys job....one was scary the other funny...Ridley is a mess!!

I Love her narrations....I have listened to her quite a bit in other series...she is really good!!! I also Like Kevin Collins too!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I hate this question...but this would make a cute movie, if they didn't ruin it like they did beautiful creatures!

I like this book and hope they continue the series....Ridley is a very complex and interesting character and Link makes me laugh....this whole book kept e interested from beginning to end....and the cliffhanger it ended on has me dying for more...2 thumbs up and a highly recommend!!!

I loved this book. I love kami Garcia's beautiful creatures series. Now the dangerous creatures series!!! I'm on dangerous deception n I hope it's just as great. Dangerous dream was actually kind of short still ok. If you love Beautiful Creatures .......and u love linkubus and Ridley then u live this book too.
The narrator was a plus. She did an excellent job.

Unsatisfying ending

Good narrator. Good writing. However I found the resolution of the story unexpected and unsatisfying. It left a sour taste in my mouth.
