The first two books of the best-selling Linear Tactical series: Cyclone and Eagle.

Cyclone

Zac Mackay. Military codename: Cyclone. He's the town's returned hero - a man forged in battle, now working to help others be safe.

So why is Anne - the quiet doctor he’d never thought he’d see again - afraid of him?

Eagle

Finn Bollinger. Military codename: Eagle. A single dad, a warrior, a hero.

For Charlotte Devereux he's also the man whose heart she broke years before. And now, he's her only chance for survival.

Narrator Review:
Tom Campbell has a great voice. I felt he could have put a little more feeling while he read so of the intense parts. Some parts felt a little flat, but I love the books so I was ok. I will definitely get the rest of the series.

Cyclone Review:
This is the start of the great series Linear Tactical. We meet the founding members and learn about Cyclone, Zac. He has had tragedy in life. His wife and son were killed. Her best friend, a shy, smart, bookish nerd grew up with them and was secretly in love with Zac. After Zac’s wife and child died, Anne was there to comfort him. In his drunken state, Zac messed up and hurt Anne by saying she should leave and how she hurt the memory of her friend by being with him.
Years later, Zac opens up Linear Tactical and helps law enforcement when needed. Anne comes back to town as an ER physician. They meet and Zac does whatever he can to show Anne he is sorry for hurting her and wants her.
This was a great first book to this awesome series. I liked that Anne thought herself as weak, but that Zac showed her that she was a strong person that could ultimately save herself. What she lacked in strength of body, she had in mind and spirit. I also love how she thought she was invisible to the town, but in the end they showed her how much she meant to them. A great start! Bring on the rest!

Eagle Review:
Finn and Charlie were High School sweethearts. Finn loved Charlie from the moment he met her when she moved into town. He didn’t see her as a spoiled rich girl. Then she left him and married someone else. Finn spiraled and was almost kicked out of the military.
This was a great second chance book. Janie Crouch has a way with world-building and character development. I cried, laughed and rooted for these characters. We learn not only about the main characters, but we also learn about the side characters as the story continues. I also like that the author makes strong heroines who fight for themselves. She also makes great alphamales that are sometimes gentle and show their feelings.
I just love this series!

These books are fantastic. So many underlying plots. Yes there’s romance, yes there’s grudges, yes there’s some violence but in the end there’s romance and a great story. The Tactical guys are awesome, I want to move there just to meet them. Waiting for the Lifetime original movies to be made based on them!

Sometimes small towns are tough, they never forget and aren’t quick to forgive

Two amazing books for one great price!

Cyclone is a fast paced, second chance small town romantic suspense that packs one heck of a punch! If you love hot alpha men, sassy heroines and sizzling suspense with plenty of romance - you won’t be disappointed. One-click this bad boy today!

Eagle - Holy hotness on a cracker, Batman! So much angst. These two may have history, but the sparks flying between Finn and Charlotte are enough to start a forest fire! Once again Janie Crouch brings us a passionate, suspense-filled romance that’s worthy of a coveted place on our forever favorites’ bookshelf.

I absolutely LOVED these two books, but found the narrator lacking when voicing female parts. I found it distracting at times especially during more intimate scenes.

Great stories - narrator found lacking

Narrator choppy and lacks feelings. I loved reading this series, so I know it’s the narrator that’s rubbing me wrong.

Great story bad narrator
