Due to unusual circumstances, Randidly starts in an isolated dungeon far beyond his level, forced to rely on the mysterious Traveler Shal in order to learn and survive with the dangerous new status quo for his world. But survive he does, only to leave the dungeon and discover that while he experienced several hellish months in the dungeon, only half a day passed on Earth. Randidly's capabilities are now more than enough to help build a small enclave of survivors, but that doesn't mean balancing his sense of responsibility against the plots of an unfriendly town will be easy.

When Pyresouls released, it was a brutal new virtual reality game with a twist: The first to beat the game would win billions of dollars. But after the Burgon Beast couldn’t be defeated, Pyresouls turned very real and unleashed an apocalypse of undead, monsters, and a system of levels and stats onto the world. so good
This installment of this series was great and left me wanting more. This was such a long book with so much going on, so many plot points, so much world building and many fights and levels galore.

Only about 6 or so hours of story between the filler.
My only real problem/complaint about this one is the amount of nonsense filler it takes until the story gets back to progressing. The story in this one is really only about 6 hours long and the rest is, in my opinion, relatively pointless.
BUT! Those 6 or so hours of story were fantastic! Listen for yourself if only to continue getting this series on audible. Looking forward to the next and hope it makes some good story progress instead of stagnating during the filler portions.

are you floorking kidding.....
finished book 3 with high hopes that this one would have less stats an alot less inner monologue..an I was pleased to find it did... butttttttttt... after 10 hours of relearning his class and crafting we finally got to a good battle.. just to end it mid fight WTF.. it's bad enough that the chapter breaks make no sense but what the hell dude. the good narration is the only thing that has kept me this long.. as I'm as stubborn as Hal

Good Book
The ending was disappointing, to stop where it was, in the middle. although it was a promise for revenge, just feel like it was not a great stopping point.
