Editorial Reviews

In this live performance, the actress, musician, and comedian Robin Greenspan creates humor by pointing out the absurdity in the everyday: jaywalking tickets, terrible jobs, feminist music festivals, and the cult that is neighborhood watch. She also points out the comedic moments of being a lesbian by telling stories about the time she came out to her mother in the parking lots of a Chinese restaurant, and what it's like to be in a relationship with a woman who has the same name. Her fans will love this smooth recording of her deft, inspired humor.

Publisher's Summary

Robin Greenspan, former lead singer/songwriter of the band Arms Akimbo, puts her musical career on pause to share with audiences another talent: stand-up comedy! In the tradition of gay culture comedy, Robin shares her wry views on the humor of sex and madness of society.

Lighthearted comedy

This may not be the type of comedy for everyone. I recommend it to those who enjoy listening to someone who can keep you laughing.
