Insta lust turned into love

This story had been hinted at in earlier books in the series, and I am so glad we finally have the story! I love how Jamie cares so much about her family and Cage too! Just warms my heart. It was a bit of a insta lust story that turns into love. I love how they meet, very plausible and how a lot of people meet now!

This book is a part of a series but you do not need to have read the other books in the series, it can be a stand alone. However if you have read the other books you will get more out of the secondary characters stories. Side note: there was also a Wicked Horse series Easter Egg :)

Just a little lie

He had never met anyone like Jamie before and a little lie about what he did slowly manifested into something that could destroy him. The balance needed in both their lives resided within the other and their whirlwind romance would catch them both by surprise. Sawyer Bennett delivers another fast paced winner in the Jameson series.

Great story and narration

This is the sixth book in the Jameson Force Security series and I found myself just as entertained and riveted as I was with the previous books. Sawyer Bennett writes a story that is equal parts romance and suspense which makes for a well balanced, exciting and intriguing read. John Lane and Emma Wilder certainly did justice to the story and John Lane in particular was well suited to the role of Cage.

I couldn’t wait to see what Ms. Bennett had in store for Cage Murdock, an operative who is always on the move, never giving a woman more than a night or two. I knew that the woman who would get to him would need to be special and Jaime certainly is. The only problem is she thinks she married a used car salesman. What will happen when the truth is revealed?

There were plenty of twists and turns and I was on the edge of my seat at times. The chemistry between Cage and Jaime is smoking hot and the story was emotional at times. When danger rears it’s head and Jaime is in the line of fire, Cage and the Jameson Force Security team will do whatever is necessary to save her.

Will Jaime be able to understand and forgive Cage or will their marriage be destroyed?

Romantic suspense with some heat

This is a series I will never tire off and Code Name: Rook ( Jameson Force Security #6) is a perfect addition to this wonderful series snd the narrators did a wonderful job bringing this book to life.Cage Murdock lives for his job, an operative with no real roots means never giving himself to one woman and never giving a woman more than a couple of nights but a one night stand with Jaime turns into so much more and now he finds himself trying to explain what he really does for a living. One night in Sin City leaves this couple married and that’s when the plot thickens as they embark on a journey of twists and turns.... Their journey will not only keep you turning the pages it will also keep you on the edge of your seat as they negotiate lies, trust issues and love, whilst trying to embark on a rescue mission. Will Jaime forgive the man she thought she had married or will the truth destroy the love they share... This book touched me on so many levels, the chemistry is sizzling, the characters are easy to fall for and the plot captivated me and let’s not forget the emotions because this is truly a heartfelt romance that will apply to a wide range of audiences. John Lane and Emma Wilder really had me swooning as I listened to one of my my favourite reads.

Another great listen

What an incredible listen in this series. This was a storyline I was curious to see play out and by no means did it disappoint. There was lots of humor, great storyline development bringing these two together while giving us cameos from the others.

Another great addition to the series

I could not stop listening to this story! It was fantastic!

I have been anxiously awaiting this story since it was teased in Ghost. It was even better than I thought it would be!

Cage and Jaime meet at a bar and it is sparks from the start. But when he lies about his profession, he cannot find a way out of the lie, even with all of his friends telling him he has to.

This is fantastic addition to this great series. One of my favorite things about this series is that it checks in with characters from previous books, and teases upcoming stories!

John Lane and Emma Wilder did a fantastic job brining the story to life.

Hot diggity dog!

We got a brief teaser of the relationship between Cage and Jamie from Ghost and was eagerly waiting on their story. Cage has just returned from successfully rescuing teammate, Malik, and is out having a drink. Then he spots HER...a gorgeous redhead...who comes up and on to him. They have a one-night stand but Cage is intrigued and, before he knows what hits him, they’re dating! The problem? Jamie thinks that Cage is a used car salesman! That in itself is hilarious. As the relationship progresses & they have a quick Vegas wedding, Cage digs himself deeper into the lie. Will he ever come clean? When Jamie’s life is in danger, he doesn’t have much choice but to engage his Jameson Security team for a rescue. Will the newlyweds survive this secret?
Another well written book in this great series. Fast paced, action packed, steamy moments and a great team of agents! Excellent job by the narration team. Looking forward to the next book!!!!

Heat, passion, danger, love

I absolutely love this series. Each book has been amazing and Code Name Rook did not disappoint. Cage Murdock is a former Navy Seal and is part of Jameson Force Security so he is no stranger to danger and has been on countless missions but when it comes to matters of the heart Cage is not optimistic. He is more of a one night stand kind of guy so when he does find a hook up he doesn't tell them about his real job, but however gives them a fake one. When he was blowing off some steam at the bar and a beautiful bold woman approached him he never thought it would be any more that that one night so he said he was a used car salesman. Jaime is celebrating with her friends from her recent breakup. Her ex was liar and a cheat and she is done with that. She thinks Cage will be a good distraction for the night but little did she know he would be so much more.

This is true to the other books in the series as we have the other great characters woven throughout and we have lust and love and all the feels in between but we also have a mission that is dangerous and men and women of Jameson Force Security always save the day. Such a great story and I listened straight through.

John Lane and Emma Wilder were perfect at Cage and Jaime. This was my first time listening to John Lane and hope it isn't my last. I really enjoyed his voice. I love listening to Emma Wilder so the narration was terrific for me.

I loved this book and highly recommend it. It is a stand alone so you don't have to have read or listened to the other 5 books in this series but I recommend them as well as they are all great.

Code Name: Rook was a fun and interesting ride! We got a little taste of Jamie and Cage in a different book so I was really looking forward to so much more. Jamie and Cage have an immediate chemistry and click right from the start. Cage is used to being a player and I really enjoyed seeing him wrestle with this brand new experience and feelings. Jamie is a sweet girl who loves to help others. Their relationship is great except for one little white lie that isn't going away easily. I really enjoyed these two together, they are sexy, sweet and all in. We got some more great glimpses into Jameson Force Security too and it just keeps me more and more interested in this fascinating world!!
