Audio ... Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon did a great job of bringing the story as well as Ladd and Greer to life.

Second Chance Romance : Ladd and Greer.

When this book hit my iPad, I jumped straight into it, and only stopped for a few hours sleep, I was captivated from the first page. The audio was superb with both narrators, each bringing the main character to life and giving me even more enjoyment. Erin’s voice is one that makes you feel familiar to, like a friend telling her side of the story. Teddy…oh Teddy is one of my favorite narrators, he ticks every box and understands emotion and delivers all the sentiments perfectly.

I don’t want to take any attention away from the actual story, which has been one of my favs in this series. A case is discussed with the team at Jameson Force Security that the government has asked help with. Ladd McDermott wasn’t paying too much attention until he hears a name from his past.. Greer Hathaway wasn’t just an old fling, she was his ex fiancée more than a decade ago. And she’s gone missing in El Salvador. Ladd takes no time in saying that he will be the first to head there and rescue Greer.

The story is action packed, learning about their past and dealing with the current situation which isn’t an easy fix. One thing that was effortless, the connection they still feel towards each other that’s also explosive. Whether you've been following the series, or picking up this standalone novel, you will be in for a gripping ride.

Great Second Chance to Love!

This is the eighth book in the amazing Jameson Force Security Series, a Romantic Suspense. I love this series! Ladd and Greer's story is well written, suspenseful, and fast-paced, filled with action, and twists and turns. This is a great second chance to love. Ladd, an ex-CIA agent and new addition to the Jameson Force Security, is handsome, protective and caring. He has such a great and healthy relationship with his son, and his ex-wife! Greer, a disavowed CIA agent in need of rescue, is strong, and independent. The rescue mission is entertaining. I loved the wonderful characters, the action, and the beautiful ending. Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to listening to the next book in the series. I HIGHLY recommend this series!

My favorite of this series!

4.5 stars. My favorite of this series. I love a second chance storyline and this one does not disappoint! Ladd and Greer’s journey is captivating and filled with angst. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and the twist and turns will keep you hooked until the end. Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon nailed the narration!

What a story!

This story starts off with a bang and keeps going! Great heart pounding action that keeps you on the edge of your seat, and doesn't stop.

The chemistry between Ladd and Greer is amazing - as these two come back into each other's lives, navigating a difficult professional situation, but also dealing with all the hurt of their past. You can help but cheer for these two. Plus, there is the whole Jameson cast that is so amazing together and round it all out nicely.

As always, Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon nail the narration.

A second chance

She was everything he had ever wanted and the one who got away. Going in to save her was something he didn’t need to think twice about since she saved his life before. Repaying the deed was so much more since he finally got his second chance. Will they both realize they are better together than apart? Time has erased what they thought they wanted and giving them both the second chance to achieve happiness was all that mattered. An absolute brilliant addition to the series!

Intrigue, danger, second chance romance & spice!

Intrigue, danger, second chance romance, with lots of good spice! I loved this book so much. It was easy to get invested into the characters and the spice was the perfect amount. I love how we have a romance storyline and an adventure storyline. And I got so invested in both. This series is amazing and this book fits right in!

This is not the first book in the series and can be read as a complete stand alone. However if you have read the other books you will know more about the secondary characters and will recognize the main characters. But you can totally read this on its own. And once you have, you will want to read the whole series! I can't wait for the next book!

So much fire!!!

First, I want to say that I really enjoy how Sawyer Bennett connects all her books. We get a small snippet from her hockey series in this book and it just reaffirms the world that Bennett is creating. Disavowed starts out with some major action… I was on the edge of my seat listening to this. It was so good that I forgot I was cleaning and just stood there listening. Then we go into some heat and Lordie, Bennett knows what she’s doing there! I couldn’t listen to this one fast enough. It was the perfect amount of suspense and romance; these are my favorite kind of books. It’s like a compulsion to read them because the action is just so intense. Add in the second chance romance and I couldn’t get enough of Ladd and Greer.

Greer is my favorite type of female character. She’s ruthless and totally kick butt but she also has a heart and can be vulnerable. Ladd is ruthless. He storms the castle for his woman and I loved that… it had me right from the start. When these two cunning people come together something amazing happens and they transform into sweet and loving but still with the spice. The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon was the BEST! Hamilton seems to play these strong, alpha males flawlessly. He has just enough edge to him to make it seem sexy but the heart is still there. Mallon was amazing as Greer. I’m not used to Erin Mallon playing such a hard woman but she did it with perfection. Greer also has some soft spots and I think Mallon was able to handle her character’s personality amazingly.

Chaotic and Passionate

Ladd and Greer...oh my! Chaotic love at its finest. What happens when you have a passion that runs so deep that it physically hurts? The attraction so strong that you don't even need words? That's what these characters are. Greer is a strong woman, but her heart belongs to Ladd. She's willing to let him be angry with her and take her any time he wants her. When her life is in danger, Ladd goes the distance to save her. She can take care of herself, but she realizes that she needs Ladd. These two fight for their love in the midst of chaos and I didn't want this story to end. I love the co-parenting relationship between Ladd and his ex. Ladd's son is wise beyond his years and I believe that has a lot to do with his father's line of work. Once again, Sawyer Bennett delivers a story full of adventure, passion, and a plot that will keep you engaged and on the edge of your seat! The narrators are two of my faves, so this was a thoroughly enjoyable read.
