There is a limit

What may cause Jeeves to continuously leave his position? Marvelous performance. I truly enjoy this book. It is so quirky.

Excellent

This is an excellent book which is very well adapted into an audiobook by the narrator. It is a classic and I recommend it highly.

Solid Wodehouse

For anyone who enjoys Wodehouse's style this audiobook is going to be good fun, with the narrator as an experienced as Cecil, you'll have good fun with this title. The stories as always need careful attention paid to them with the sheer number of characters involved so maybe re-listening would be a good idea if you're struggling.

Excellant romp through a cracking tale

In middle age I'm embarrassed to say that I've only just got round to these. The spoken book is ideal for travel to and from work. The narrator Jonathan Cecil deserves special praise here. The books have multiple characters speaking, often at the same time, and his rendition of Jeeves, Bertie, and aged Aunt, the girlfriend and Old Stoker are all superb.

Mr Cecil brings the book to life and his clipped tones really helped. There were points where I actually laughed aloud at the story and the mental images so skillfully brought to life.

Wodehouse would approve of such a gifted narrator.

Wodehouse / Cecil combo scores 10/10 again

If you could sum up Thank You, Jeeves in three words, what would they be?

Top quality entertainment

What did you like best about this story?

Wodehouse's writing is possibly the best I have ever read (or listened to, in this case)

Which character – as performed by Jonathan Cecil – was your favourite?

Cecil gives a fantastic performance as Bertie Wooster, although actually his subtle portrayal of the other characters is just as good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I have re-listened to it several times.

My absolute favourite Jeeves and Wooster story

This novel absolutely takes the cake, it has thr typical hilarious mix ups and doom of impending marriage for Bertie. What set it apart for me was the praise Jeeves had for Bertir and their reconciliation at the end. Jonathan Cecil is a delight as always.

Perfect

Wonderful story and characters written in a beautiful form of English. The reading was excellent with all the right voices to make it sound more like a play than a book.
