Mary Shelley wished with her classic Gothic novel Frankenstein to "make the reader dread to look round, to curdle the blood, and quicken the beatings of the heart". Mary Shelley succeeded.
Victor Frankenstein finally fulfills his dream of creating his own living creature, stitched together from the macabre remains of corpses. To his horror he finds he has created something even more ghastly than in his worst imaginings. Frankenstein has created a monster with a soul!
This is one of the few unabridged versions of Mary Shelley's all-time-classic. I'd been looking for a great audiobook version of Frankenstein for quite a while. Well, here it is.
Brilliantly narrated by Daniela Acitelli, whose voice instantly puts you right into the story. Couldn't stop listening. Highly recommended.

I have never read this book before. I had zero clue that it was so different then movies made it out to be. The book was scary yet thrilling. I was worried it would be difficult to understand. A book written in the early 1800’s had great vocabulary, but atlas I loved it! The narrator made it perfect. So much so that I want to checkout more of her narrations. If you are on the fence about this book listen to me: “You will love it!!” I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a classic tale and is brought to life by Daniela Acitelli. Ms. Acitellie does the most amazing job bringing this story life. She captures the desperation, anguish, rage, and utter despair of both Victor Frankenstein and his Monster during their monologues. Her performance is something that is truly outstanding and makes this classic tale even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this audiobook.
