Publisher's summary

Told in journal fragments that cannot provide any single perspective, Bram Stoker's masterpiece is at the same time intensely romantic and very modern. It unfolds the story of a Transylvanian Don Juan, the aristocratic vampire Count Dracula who preys on damsels, and the mission launched from a lunatic asylum to destroy him.

Excellent Excellent Audiobook

The voices were perfect for the novel and captured all the wild emotions of these characters. And if you want the Broadview version based on the original work of Stoker, this is the one. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Magnificent narration and pacing

Truly outstanding audio edition of Dracula. With so many versions extent, Mr. Wise and Ms. Reeves transported me to Victorian London, the wild English Coast, and of course, the environs of the Count’s dreadful Transylvanian lair.

Dracula is a classic of terror and suspense, and yet other narrators always seem to read the story much too quickly, lessening the slow rise of tension. This version allows the story to breathe, lheightening the suspense across every passage as the novel unfolds.

I was truly caught up in Mr Wise and Ms. Reeves, wonderful characterizations and absorbed into this other world, allowing the sometimes beautiful, often hypnotic and mostly horrible elements to play out in time to the bitter end. Bravo.

Fuckin' sicck!!

The readers kept a very steady pace and every accent they used was spot on and really added to the story.
