    "Not unabridged"

Despite the claims in the teaser, this collection is most definitely abridged. The main reason I bought this audiobook was so that I could listen to “Bertie Changes His Mind.” Nope. Not in this recording, even though it is one of the stories in the printed collection. Further, the order of the stories were chopped and changed to the extent that Bertie must have been able to teleport from NYC to London and back again via the old Indian fakir bit he’s always going on about.

It’s disgraceful that Audible advertises this as an unabridged recording, and then uses reviews of the print version from Amazon to sell it.

"Standard Jeeves – highly amusing stories"

A spot of PG Wodehouse and Jeeves is almost always good for the soul – and the funnybone :-). This particular one is actually a series of about four long stories of the Jeeves ilk, and this narrator was good. I'm not totally familiar with the shades of British accent, but this was satisfying.
For those who are not familiar with the PG Wodehouse Jeeves series, Jeeves is a gentlemen's gentleman for Bertie Wooster, a British man of leisure who is really kind of, somewhat stupid and has quite a knack of getting himself involved in ridiculous situations, either because of his stupidity or his need to make friends and make people happy. Jeeves is usually his ticket out.

    "Excellent Book!"

The humor in this book has few laugh out loud moments, but keeps a constant smile on the face. I don't worry that any of the subjects will be unacceptable for my children to over hear. The only complaint is with Martin Jarvis' American accent. He does tolerably well for an English narrator, but it is still a little irritating.

    "Wodehouse's Jeeves delivers as always"

This collection of Jeeves stories includes one describing how Bertie Wooster first met and employed Jeeves. All the stories were hillarious, as with all his Jeeves books. This is a good starting place for someone who has not been introduced the the Wooster and Jeeves stories before. The reader is wonderful and has many very distinctive voices and accents that give every character, male and female alike, an identity of their own. Great read.

    "As funny as it gets!"

Terrific humor, all at the expense of oddball characters from the (declining) upper classes of early Twentieth Century England -- Downton Abbey done for laughs.

Worth every penny. Absolutely fabulous. Do read it. Contains all the same Jeeves stories as My Man Jeeves.

Too many stories from first book. One of the better Jeeves readers but not favorite.

    "Great Reader!"

Martin Jarvis brings this material to life in a way that justifies listening to, rather than reading, it.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book and its narration. It is classic Wodehouse and will bring a smile to listeners. "Not for this Bertram!"
