Stephen Fry is an English actor, screenwriter, author, playwright, journalist, poet, comedian, television presenter, film director and all-round national treasure. Whilst at university, Fry became involved with the Cambridge Footlights, where he met his long-time collaborator and friend, Hugh Laurie. As half of the comic double act Fry and Laurie, he co-wrote and co-starred in A Bit of Fry & Laurie and Jeeves and Wooster. Fry’s acting roles include Blackadder, Kingdom, Bones, V for Vendetta, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and The Hobbit trilogy. He has written and presented several documentary series and as a proudly out gay man, the award-winning Out There, documenting the lives of lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender people around the world is part of his 30-year advocacy of the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. Fry has written four novels: The Liar, The Hippopotamus (made in to a feature film in 2018), Making History and The Stars’ Tennis Balls. Translated into many languages, they have never been out of print. The most recently published works are Mythos, Heroes and Troy, a trilogy retelling the Greeks myths from the Creation to the aftermath of the Trojan War.

Love Stephen Fry and P.G. Wodehouse

Stephen Fry does an excellent job with a huge range of characters, from Lady ‘Aunt Connie’ Constable, Pongo, Mr Pott, Lord Emsworth, and many more. If you enjoy P.G. Wodehouse, you’ll love this collection. My favorite was the last story, Uncle Fred in the Springtime. Ridiculous, relaxing, and highly enjoyable. Enjoy!

Humourous and entertaining!

Stephen Fry is a masterclass. I can think of no other narrator who brings a story more to life then he. From start to finish, Mr. Fry brings a richness and depth to the stories that I believe even P.G. Wodehouse would’ve been happy with! The stories are entertaining and rich in humor and wry wit. You can’t go wrong with this book - well worth your token or purchase!

Anything is better with Stephen Fry

I didn’t think anything could improve P. G. Wodehouse, but Stephen Fry does. These hilarious stories are even better narrated by his wonderful voice.

Stephen Fry is great

Great storytelling of Blandings Castle stories. I especially like Uncle Fred in the Springtime. I hope he will be narrating more PG Wodehouse books.

Should have sticked to Blandings

Excellent when the stories are in Blanding and associates. The Hollywood stories skip, Boring like a very bad inside joke. Neither interesting nor funny. The golf stories are ok.
