Needed

This is something that is needed. Beautiful stories of Christmastime. I needed it greatly before the holiday. I got a copy from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.

A Cup of Hot Cocoa Sort of Book

These heartwarming stories describe many kinds of Christmas miracles, from inexplicable medical recoveries and mysterious animal spirits to angels intervening to prevent disasters. The alternating narration by Michael Hacker and Leah Christine works well--their warm voices are the equivalent of a hot cup of cocoa on a cold winter's night. A great book to listen to during the Christmas season, especially.

Fantastic on all accounts

I love everything about this book. The short stories that I can fit into the small spaces of my day. The uplifting and wonderful messages from each person bringing joy in this hard season. And the voice actors are phenomenal. I could listen to both of them day in and day out. Definitely will be looking for more of their work. Totally worth it.

Uplifting treat for the holidays

Because each chapter stands alone as a complete story, you can listen even if you only have a few minutes. The stories are uplifting, and a treat for holiday listening. The standout here is Michael Hacker’s narration: a smooth, resonant voice, with charm and nuance, sometimes reminiscent of the folksy style of Jean Shepherd (the writer/narrator of the movie A CHRISTMAS STORY). I’ll be looking for more of his work.
