Awesome !!!!

Loved this book. Narrator is the one of the best. Worth the credit. Lynn Austin's books never dissapoint.

The humanity and integrity most of the main characters clung to in spite of fear, danger and great challenge.

I liked it that the characters clung to hope in a very hopeless time. I also like how random circumstances brought varying levels of rescue.
May I be so courageous and hopeful in similarly trying times.

Amazing story!

This book was such a good reminder of what happened, not only to the Jews, but to the innocent people of the Netherlands during WW2. As my husband's grandfather was from the Netherlands, and lived through this time, even ending up in a prison camp for trying to feed the people in his village, it really touched me. Yes, this absolutely could happen again

This book was excellent! I loved the storyline and the characters. I couldn’t stop listening.

Straight truth. Both good and evil. Glory to God throughout. Lessons to be learned from this story.
