If I had read this and not listened I think I would have DNF’d it. Jake and Bridget Bordeaux proving again, when it comes to audiobooks a great narration can bring a *meh* story through.

Not sure I care enough about the characters to continue this series but I’ll absolutely find more books with these narrators.

Why does she read the story like that?

I really don’t like the way the female narrator read her line. I understand to give emotions to the lines but I feel like she can cut back the emotion when she’s describing the scene. I guess the writing style is just not for me. I find the female lead insufferable
