It’s just good

I don’t wanna spoil any of it for anyone just listen and enjoy the series is a little on the spicy raw side definitely Look At triggers but seriously if you like this kind of book is awesome

Gripping

A look into the mind and reality of people when their known world begins to end.

Meaningful Backstory

Hearing about how the world fell apart and how our main characters experienced it was really helpful in understanding our hero’s. The performances are great but I did miss Joe Arden.

Beau’s “Southern” accent…is not it

I LOVE these books, I’ve read all 3 on my kindle and then listened to Day Death. Speaking as a southern person, and someone who occasionally does voice work…Beau’s accent is atrocious. Sounds like Foghorn Leghorn. If his family was from near Robins AFB, he would have been from Warner Robins, GA (about 100mi south of Atlanta). He would not have that syrupy thick of an accent. It honestly reminded me of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character Calvin Candie from Django Unchained. It really threw me off on his parts because he sounds like he’s from antebellum times rather than the present.

I love it

I love knowing the beginning of this trilogy. Seeing how everyone got to their destination and where they were when the world fell apart.

Narration incredible as always.
Story was great I really loved getting to see what lead up the first book because I'm starting to get antsy waiting for the 3rd book so this definitely helped by giving me something while we wait for the next release.
As for Smut it was pretty much non-existent but that was ok.

The Start of it All

Explained how each person lived before the apocalypse. Full cast in 🎧 Sad moments and growth with each person.

Pretty good

I liked this book. It kept me on edge and gave me walking dead vibes honestly. Except no zombies haha. This will be my first post apocalypse book series

Perfect backstory and novella!

Absolutely loved this novella and getting more insight on the Brutes and Eden’s Day Death story! I’ve read all books (expect the 3rd that JUST released) and I definitely understand the characters a bit more because of this novella!

Poor Eden went through hell and it shines a light even more on her actions throughout the series. I’m so excited to see how this trilogy ends! I already know I’m going to be sad and happy!

Side personal note: very disappointed Joe didn’t return as Beau… I love JF Harding but in this series I’m so attached to him as Lucky it was hard hearing him as Beau because Joe did such an amazing southern accent

This book was awful! Great job to the narrators. The author ran out of ideas it seems and wrote this book which was the beginning of everything. It was rushed and then end was like, are u serious! Such of waste of money. The first 2 books were so great but this one was a total disaster…
