Why choose, wolf shifters, audio is perfection!

Crescent Kingdom is the first book in the Wolves of Crescent Creek series and I loved it so much! This author is a favorite for why choose, paranormal romances with fated mates and protective hero vibes. Tropes: wolf shifters, why choose, heroine in hiding, hidden identity, fated mates, touch her and die vibes, and I was so obsessed!

I’ve been anticipating this book since Wren first showed up in the previous series from this author and this start to the series did not disappoint! We see Wren’s backstory in the prologue and then cut to years later when she’s living in Crescent Creek, Colorado. She’s such a strong character who has gotten used to taking care of herself over the years. Wren is a hybrid (half wolf, half caster) and has kept her identity under wraps for years. Her life gets shaken up when one day she’s sparring at the gym and meets Kingston, the gym owner who she immediately recognizes as an alpha wolf shifter and has her wanting to flee! Kingston also owns a security company with the other heroes and soon Wren finds herself falling into their lives.

I am so obsessed with the start to this series and already love all of the characters so much! Each of the heroes gives different energy and feels so unique. Kingston the alpha, gym owner who calls her “Little Warrior”. Locke the tech enthusiast, glasses-wearing hacker of the group. Puck is British and owns the bar she lives above. Ender is the assassin and cat dad of the group (his rescue kitten is so precious). And Brix, the mercenary of the group! I have loved seeing each of their interactions with Wren and how they connect together as well. I’m just so excited to see how the overall story continues, cause that ending! 🤯

The audiobook is fantastic, highly recommend grabbing the audios for this author’s books because they always are amazing! This one has a full cast narrating the characters and was oh so good: Vanessa Moyen, Connor Crais, Jason Clarke, JF Harding, Teddy Hamilton, and Shane East!

Entertaining with Excellent Narration!

Crescent Kingdom is the first book and audiobook in The Wolves of Crescent Creek Series. It is a paranormal, wolf shifter, why choose, small town romance with a strong FMC, morally grey heroes, action, intrigue, mystery, and more.

The narrators for this audiobook were amazingly chosen and include some of my absolute favorites. Vanessa Moyen, Connor Crais, Jason Clarke, JF Harding, Shane East, and Teddy Hamilton do such a terrific job bringing the dynamic characters and their exciting and entertaining story to life.

Wren is a bada$$ FMC who hides the truth of who and what she is and trusts no one but herself. She is also on the run from the absolute horrors of her past.

Kingston, Puck, Ender, Locke, and Brix are brothers, and pack, by choice. Kingston is the leader and a true caretaker. Puck is a Brit with golden retriever vibes. Locke is the computer wiz and a real sweetheart. Then we have the psycho twins, Brix and Ender, who are the most morally questionable of the pack and are suspicious of everyone not pack. All of these characters have some major personal demons.

This was such an amazing start to this new series. I love the intriguing characters and their unputdownable story. I loved how the relationships and plot progressed as well.

The writing, pace, plot, and flow of the story are incredible as are the storytelling, storyline, characters, character development, relationship development, world building, and the narration of the audiobook.

This was a spectacular read and listen that I would highly recommend. I am very excited to see and hear what the next book brings.

Why choose shifters!!!!

I really enjoyed listening to this why choose shifter book! It was short and steamy and left me wanting more!

Tessa never misses—and this series proves it all over again!

I was hooked from the very first chapter. One powerful female lead, a "why choose" romance (yes, please!), and a cast of swoon-worthy shifters? Total perfection. Tessa always writes women we want to cheer for and men we dream about, and this story is no exception. The narration brought it all to life—I didn’t want it to end. And now I'm counting down the days until July to continue the journey. Can’t get enough!

Loved Discovering the Characters

Tessa Hale does it again. This was a wonderful introduction to Wren and her men. The twists and turns kept me guessing about what problems they faced. I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next book in this trilogy.
