Omg I devoured this book!! Ugh it was so good if I was Genevieve I would have just given up and confessed my feelings lol

I'm so glad there's going to be a part 2!!!

When I saw there were only 15 mins left in the book, I got a little nervous about how everything would be wrapped up so quickly. But I'm so relieved to know it's just a cliffhanger. I was SO into this audiobook! The power dynamic between the characters was hot and I like that the FL wasn't a pushover; she was stoic and fierce. The ML was very possessive and a little creepy, but in the best way, if that makes sense. (Something is wrong with my taste in men, I swear 😅) He's very resourceful and cunning. If you like all of that, you'll probably love this book just as much as I did.
My only criticism is that there was so much internal conflict/dialog for both characters when they're thinking about each other. It went on just a little too long in some parts. But that internal dialog was necessary and essential to better understand the story. I just have the attention span of a gnat, so that's more of a me problem. 😄 I loved this book and I'm REALLY looking forward to the next one.
